  • A Post Origin Streak

Post Origin, I've got this weird confidence we're going to win the Premiership.

Teddy's form, Walker's return, Toia's confidence, Savala's kicking game, all the younguns and their energy... dunno. Feels good.

And I reckon the wheels could start coming off for the top teams like Canberra and the Dogs. Mid season slumps happen.

We'll soon find out I guess - hitting form over the all important post Origin period is how comps are won.

In any event, the season gets real now.

Roosters $61 to win the comp
Do something weird & go & put $1000 on us.

If we can't win the comp (which is highly unlikely) I'd like to see us get our shit together so we don't have to spend the first half of next year attempting to get our shit together.

It'll be good to see the young blokes get some finals experience under their belts.

Hey Mickie, do you follow your own advice?
Thanks for alerting me to the $61 - juicy odds , worth throwing up to 50 bucks on if you are a true Roosters believer.

To beat the drizzle in both matches scheduled in rounds 21 and 26 would be amazing for the young squad.

Penrith and Melbourne are the two teams over the last few years we just haven't been able to beat. Well, we finally beat Penrith, let's hope we get at least 1 win against the Storm.

Every year we have a run, we haven't had a run yet.
It should have continued last week with 3 in a row, but here we are.

Penrith and Storm on their best days would still hurt us, Bulldogs and Raiders aren't looking like they're slowing down either. I think this year is a great year to set up for a premiership in 2026.

I just don’t see Sam hitting his straps until about 4/5 games back - I feel like a lot of people are expecting big things from him immediately and as much as I hope that’s the case I really don’t think it’s likely.

We don’t necessarily need big things from Sammy to make improvements, just his presence and style of play will be enough to help this team improve over the next 10 weeks..

His natural game is enough to help this team excel, then once he hits his straps in a few weeks the sky is the limit.

Giving you that 2010 Todd Carney for Dally M vibe is it?

This team has far too many defensive lapses to be a serious premiership threat.
