I did consider a post origin streak but seeing how windy and cold it was outside, I decided against it.

I can't remember a season like this one. The Raiders and the Dogs have been very consistent, but I don't see them as heavyweights. Whoever builds towards the semi's will be as good a chance as anyone.

The way I see it is, first we need to win 5/9 games on the run home at a minimum. I'm hoping that having Walker back will add a better short kicking game and he has much better awareness of eyes up footy, Sandon has a habit of running himself after a linebreak instead of moving the ball wide where is a 3 man overlap.

I have a few dollars @ $61 & a few @ $6 to make the semi's is a while back.

I just don’t see Sam hitting his straps until about 4/5 games back - I feel like a lot of people are expecting big things from him immediately and as much as I hope that’s the case I really don’t think it’s likely.

i was thinking that, that this season might be like when sammy broke his leg in 2023 and didn't come back in time for the team to build good momentum but i checked just now and he came back in that season with only 2 rounds to go. 9 rounds gives him a bit more leeway. if we can win 3 of the next 4 i reckon we'll make the 8
