Watch him become a much improved player under their system.

Dragons system is farked. They've produced the likes of Robson, Saab and Garrick to name a few, who have kicked on elsewhere LOL.
Apparently De Belin is also on his way out.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Lets just let our pathways & academy keep on doing what its doing & let some other club buy him.
What's the plan if we make the Prelims and (touch wood) Teddy is out injured?

Because they both failed! That’s like Germany using the logic of starting WWIII because they lost I and II. Most would see that as a reason to steer clear.

Been a while since I've been impressed with a Melbourne 3/4 line. Outside of Coates who they paid a mint for feels like they have more misses than hits these days.

They are interesting stats Batesy but for mine regardless his yardage carries out of their own end are atrocious and that puts the pigs under too much pressure in today’s game to have a winger that can’t do them. Sloan will never imo have a good yardage carry in his game.

Hey mate post contact meters are below. For a player that hasn't connected with his coach and is playing in a shite team his overall numbers are very good imo.

Meaney, Warbrick, Howarth and Anderson have been good gets and have held their own.
Howarth made the SOO 2 squad and i believe Anderson is Broncos bound in 2026. That's probably why they're considering Sloane.

I think Sloan would be one of those players that we could really use. If you look at our depth in the backs we've got Pauga who has 21 games and Ethan King who has 1 game, aside from that we have NSW Cup players who have never played NRL before and according to those on here that follow our NSW Cup efforts there isn't anyone that particularly stands out in that side back wise.

If we sign Sloan as depth we get a player who is comfortable at both fullback and wing but also a player who has 72 games of NRL experience. He has been a standout in most St George games I've seen and might be happy to play NSW Cup short term whilst he improves under Robbo, Holbrook and the rest of our coaching staff.

As it stands right now if one of our backline players went down we'd be relying on a player with just 1 game of experience and that could be problematic.

Held their own I would agree with, they're all just solid contributors & I think that's all Bellamy is looking for these days.

Almost seems like they've structured their salary cap to the point where they would rather have back up fullbacks, halves & dummy halves on more money than some of their top 17 outside backs & forwards. Think Fa'alogo, Pezet & Wishart. Not a bad strategy IMO.

We've got some good young centres coming through in Jackson Stewart & Lui Lee who may make their way into First Grade starting off on the wing.

Mikey Nassar who we signed as a fullback in the junior grades but struggled there this year and then ended up doing a decent job on the wing has unfortunately gone to the Dogs, so there's no doubt a bit of a shortage of specialist wingers coming through. Will be somewhere we have to consider dipping into the market potentially that's for sure.

I was always under the impression that the Storm payed their outside backs peanuts. Money was pumped into their spine so i was very surprised when they signed Coates for around $500k a year which was big money back in 2022.
