Robbo only once has one coach of the year 2013. He should have won it in 2020 and deserves to win it in 2025 regardless of where the team finishes in the engineered tv scheduled comp.

I think sticky deserves it if he finishes top 4.

Good to see some real positivity in the Pen around the coach, the team and our prospects going forward. I’ve certainly been guilty of negativity on occasion, but I feel we are on the verge of something great, whether this year or soon after. Whether we are winning or not quite getting there, Robbo seems energised as does the team and that flows on to us as diehard, rusted-on fans. I get the sense that we are on the cusp of another golden age.

With regards to the Chookpen, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the place just feels better. Yeah, better.

I would’ve given it to him in 2021 for sure. Ran 5th and nearly made the Top 4 with what was effectively a reserve grade side by the end of the year.

I think Seibold won it during one of the years we won the comp either 18 or 19. Says everything you need to know about the legitimacy of that award lol

They signed Robson but would you sign him now with a combo of Connor Watson and Benaiah Loelu and ditto DCE with Hugo Savala and Sandon Smith.

Given Sandon knocked back an extension late last year, it’s hard to imagine he was staying anyway. I suspect he saw the writing on the wall with Rodwell coming through and decided his future was elsewhere.

I heard that the Canberra players asked Ricky to ease the intensity a little. You can see he has and the players have delivered. Joe Tapine is the leader but they have a good blend of experience and youth. Much like the Roosters do

Get where you are coming from but Robson is a great signing imo Watson can fill in well.. beniah is great but very raw.. Robson is a friend type player happy with that signing

I agree 100% Robson will be a key ingredient to the new Bondi Wall, and I feel we will definitely win at least one premiership with him as our #9
