  • Hats off Robbo.

Credit where credit is due - he has the boys playing absolutely fire footy at the moment. Our middles are aiming up and gee the young boys are flying.

We are well entrenched in the top 8. Let’s go after it.

Let’s go boys. And let’s go Robbo.

Yeah apparently he can coach again. Nah seriously I’ve always been a big Robbo fan. He’s got these young guys playing very well.

He has shown this year he is a great coach and doesn’t just need a stacked team … however as his critics say we must clean up our errors and discipline which is true …a lot of his rooster fans critics hate him because of politics and so will never support him.

          Yep.

Of course the corrupt, bald-headed, fkwit with the whistle didn't see fit to investigate further.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

had a heap of experienced players who left, started the season without 2 of our spine, lost the first two trials, got thrashed in the opener ... now in the eight.
i'm hoping we keep the trajectory

No expectations at the start of the year. I said I was just going to enjoy watching our future stars get that experience and show us glimpses of what they have.
Toia, Foketi, Marky, Steep, Benny, Hugo.
FM how far have they exceeded all our expectations? And how good are they going to be next year and the 5-10 years after that? Throw in some other young guys like Walker, Wong, Whyte, Losalu, Va'a x 2, Rodwell and a few more.
And not underestimating what our leaders and other experienced guys are doing for these kids.

It's taken a couple of years for the academy to bear fruits but well done Robbo, Uncle Nick, Friendy, Boyd and the rest. We have a serious long term team that will give every premiership a good crack every year including this year.

Bunker had plenty of time to make a call too

You gotta love Roosters style footy when it all comes together like today.

I reckon Robbo encourage the boys to play high risk footy knowing that eventually the majority of the plays will stick.

I think the most concerning aspect of today was our defence allowing the Cows to make lots of meters (Coen Hess was making plenty) at will better sides will punish us, we need to be aggressive with and and without the ball when, Whyte goes off we struggle to make ground Foketi’s star is rising and I’m hopeful he’s the kid to keep it going when Whyte goes off (when we’re fully fit that is).

I thought exactly the same thing.
Despite the thrashing we handed the Cowboys, the Roosters ruck defence isn’t aggressive enough and there was too many metres made through the ruck in the 1st half - the ruck defence is too loose.
The better teams will punish us.

I think the Roosters external recruitment comes under more under scrutiny every game.

They signed Robson but would you sign him now with a combo of Connor Watson and Benaiah Loelu and ditto DCE with Hugo Savala and Sandon Smith.

                        I wouldn't.

Yep spot on he’s done a wonderful job blending the youth with the experience and getting them so connected - the attack was wonderful today but that’s come after getting our house in order in D.

It's been like this for several years. Signed Fifita who fortunately backflipped, signed Brandon Smith and then Dom Young. All very questionable signings. Robson is a very good player, I would have preferred that we stuck with Benny and Connor. Benny has an X factor that cannot be coached.
