A real shame as I think whenever he’s played this year he’s been really solid. That Broncos game he was the best forward on the ground. Caused by foul play as many have mentioned already. BS!
That’s a real shame. As mentioned above he was playing well and his defence in the middle is first class. He controls the tackled players decent and ability to get a fast play the ball better than most.
Yeah a real shame - I actually rate Nat unlike many on the site. He would have been handy to have now Rads is out for a few games most likely. Who did the hip drop on Nat - I missed that?

I want to say it was Mitch Kenny? I remember Robbo having a go after the Riff game. I could be wrong though, that might’ve been on a different player.
We seem to cop a few every year so it’s hard to keep up!
I would love to see some data on this maybe it's just recency bias speaking but feels like moderate to major injuries are a more common factor in today's game.
I know we had a real rough trot from 2021-24 but even just looking around the comp there seems to be so many sides with multiple injuries to their top 17.
If true, I can only imagine it's a matter of time before squad rotation and player resting will become an in-season tactic to reduce injury tolls.

I agree there seems to be more tissue/ligament injuries like ACLs, MCLs, hammies, sindesmosis, etc rather than contact injuries like fractures. I guess it’s the speed of the game these days with the 6-agains and fewer stoppages for scrums & penalties, plus the elimination of the big hits, shoulder charges, etc. The new game puts the body under stress for longer and we are unfortunately seeing the results.
In 2018 & 19 we were happy to give away penalties, reset and back our defence. They changed the rules but we didn’t change our discipline, therefore we didn’t have that reset time anymore and we had to defend for longer periods without a break. That might have contributed to our spate of injuries in the 2020-24 years, particularly ACLs.
A hip drop which we didn’t even get a penalty for from memory. In the first 5-10 minutes of the game too!
It was also in a try scoring situation wasn't it? A few weeks ago Penrith got away with another hip drop at the end of the Tigers game when the Tigers were in a try scoring situation to win the game but then I think back to some of the "hip drops" we've been penalised for like that Radley one a year or 2 ago where he made a regulation tackle around the legs and slid off the player without making contact with the legs and still got 10 in the bin
