Since he’s game isn’t a power game hopefully Sam is able to bounce back quickly compared to the norm.
Yes from me, hope he eases in and please no aggravation of his injury, he'll definitely have a target on him.

i thought he fell into the sub elite category!
Haha cheers old mate—tell your other accounts I said hi. Sandon only racked up metres, broke lines and gave us spark all game… but yeah, clearly sub-elite through your patented couch-coach algorithm.

To be fair I’m just watching the game for the first time since seeing it at the Stadium. 53 mins in and he’s been much better than I felt at the game. Think he’s been good to this point bar the missed tackle for their first try and the moment with the ball where he had too many options and just froze up. But all in all pretty good.

I have no other accounts mate - what you see is what you get here.

Sandons been very good of late. Not getting the raps he deserves. And his goalkicking has been a big feature. I'd keep him kicking instead of Walker.

Yes the way he has goal kicked you would leave the duties with him if on the field. He’s kicking for goal has been superb.

Just finished the replay. Raiders outside backs are just so quick and strong and run it back into the defensive line with no thought of preservation for themselves. Read a few comments on here that the Raiders are pretenders this year - imo they are not. Playing very well and clearly playing for one another and the coach as a very good team unit. The desire is there - they will go along way this year.

And we tend to score most of our tries in the corners, making his goal kicking efforts even more impressive.

Oh how much we missed you Sammy boy. What could have been.

Wishing the kid a great return while we all bite our fingernails every time he is tackled from now on.

Could Sandon become a really effective number 14 ? He seems to me to add more to the team than Docker Clay or maybe Savala becomes a number 14

Yeah I think he could but with Robson coming next year Conner will go back to the 14 role where he excels. I don’t like the idea of playing Conner 13 simply because then to fit Sandon in you reduce Radley. Vic’s a much better 13 than 11. But I do think 14 may be Sandons best position potentially.

You seem to have two 14's..Connor and sandon. Connor is a certainty....either Sandon or Hugo miss out completely...or if dce comes, heaven forbid both miss out.

It's a big mess...seems we're developing young players then most of the good ones will be going elsewhere, to play for other teams against us.
                          Hardly makes sense.
Seems like a big waste of time and effort...like the Suaalii debacle.

In Trent and Board we trust.

suaalii was a gamble that didn't pay off (unless he comes back and plays well for us). you win some, you lose some. i do think it's risky sending our juniors to union playing schools. they're less likely to go to union if they don't play it at school

Sam Walker is not listed in NSW Cup - Have to wait to one hour before kick off if there are any changes - The Roosters often have gaps in both their senior rep teams with no player listed as playing in particular positions.

The write up below has Darcy Smith making his debut in Jersey Flegg but he's not listed in the team list - No player listed as playing 12 nor at 4 in Jersey Flegg - NSW Cup has no one listed as 17th player
