They said on Fox last night that the Raiders have won 4 on the trot against us in Sydney. Time to right that wrong tonight.

And unless we can put together a big, strong, fast, skilful team for next year and beyond it'll be 5,6,7,8,9 10.
We need to start with a big, tough, no nonsense, hard running, hard tackling pack of forwards.
Atm we don't have that.

What's harder to watch is nearly everyone in team dropping/losing the ball.

We can't question the effort from the players. Holding Canberra to one try in the first half was enormous.

But overall last night's performance was pretty woeful when you think about it. The amount of dropped ball in the first half was reserve grade standard.

The amount of errors made at critical moments is infuriating. It seems to happen just about every week. And more often than not it's the same players.

Spencer Leniu had 5 runs in 35 minutes, we pay this dud big money to do next to nothing

You’re being a bit hard on Leniu when he had some mates who performed worse. Compare Leniu to Collins for instance.

Lindsay played for 5 more minutes than Spencer and managed a whole one extra run. They ended up with the same meters. Spencer had more post-contact meters and made one tackle break to Lindsay’s zip.

Lindsay’s tackle efficiency was 84% (5 misses), Spencer’s 96% (1 miss).

Spencer wasn’t at the top of his game, but he was more effective than Lindsay.

Too much defending. None of our forwards cracked 100M last night and had several make 30+ tackles. Wong, Watson, Angus, Radley, Steep and Butcher.

Leniu 26 tackles in 36 mins
Collins 27 tackles in 40 mins.

So when you think about it our defence that kept us in the match the whole time was impressive… our errors are frustrating as fark though and incurable it seems at the club.

I think Radley needs a rest and I don't mean in reserve grade I mean genuinely some time out of the game. Foketi and Steep are both capable of sharing that role based on what we've seen this season.

Odd scoreline considering how bad our handling was. You'd expect to get lapped with so many errors and missed tackles against a team that's coming 2nd in the comp.

We're rebuilding and imo are doing it relatively quickly. The dead wood is slowly being removed and the young guns are getting valuable game time.

Add Walker and Whyte and we beat the Raiders. Get this squad firing and we lap them!

Probably one of the very few who thinks it's a bad decision to allow Dom to go - you can't train for or buy speed. - The Roosters have basically plodders in the backline now(1 to 5) - maximum pace wise of 20 and up to 30 metres at a pinch.

Only other back it looks like that they will have as a replacement is Ethan King who does have speed at least but unlikely to get a run - A fullback who can play centre

mmm Robbo will be heart broken that you're not backing his decision to flick Dom Young. lol

Let's send our talent scouts out to all running carnivals and recruit the 2 fastest athletes and lock them in for 10 years.

Sandon is a 14. Not a natural rugba league ball player.
If we have Sammy there, as soon as he sees that rushing outside defence, he'd have grubbered behind them to make them think about doing it next play. They did it to all day and neither half did anything about it.
Sammy to run the team. Huge-o to distribute, tackle, kick, back-up and the odd run.
Don't need old turtle neck.
Foketi and Egan can also both distribute and Victor is great at taking to the line.

Not suggesting Radley should retire but that’s a lot of head knocks this year, a rest might do him the world of good.

And If I have offended you or anyone for calling out their disappearing acts of some particular trolls every time we are doing well then so be it, I don’t care. It’s just a shame to see this forum being run into the ground by people who don’t genuinely care about the club because there are a lot of supporters on this forum who enjoy reading from afar and not seeing every thread getting hijacked. Hoping my rants this week might curtail that behaviour a little bit, but I’m not optimistic and I genuinely think this forum is on its last legs.

This comes from someone who has loved being a member of this forum both getting to read other people’s opinions and experiences around the club and hopefully contributing something that other die hards find informative or interesting. It’s such a shame seeing genuine insightful voices being drowned out by the spam of nonsense on here over the last couple of seasons.

If I truly wanted to abuse my moderator title I would just ban them and mass delete their posts… but I don’t. I just share my opinion and give them a taste of their own medicine. Why you’re so triggered by that I don’t know.
