Sandon was ace last night. He's not getting the kudos he deserves atm. His goalkicking makes Walkers absence less relevant too. Will be sorry if he's a casualty of our recruitment decisions.

Sorry, I can’t see a bench including both Watson and Hugo, with Walker and DCE as the halves.
Maybe one of those players on the bench, but not both.
They’re too small, and the tendency for most coaches at the moment ( including Robinson) is to go with 4 forwards on the bench.
That will probably upset a few fantasies that exist here on the chookpen.Comment

It's funny I always have thought the player he profiles like most in first grade is probably Dearden.
I couldn't imagine them as a combo, they seem to offer very similar qualities.Comment

Sandon is still a very very average error prone first grader, he's in the top 10 for errors made this year with a bunch of backs that obviously need to contend with kicks and is in the top 30 for missed tackles, Hugo has more potential but he's still very much just a developing first grader who just dished his first try assists over the weekend and is still yet to break the line or dish a line break assist, they wouldn't have clubs lining up to sign them, not yet anyway.Originally posted by roostermcgregor View Post

Walker is the only reason I’m happy if he hits the market.

Savala has played 6 games in the halves this year, comparing combined stats between a guy who has 6 career games in the halves and a guy with less than 50 games total neither of which are supposed to be primary controlling half of the club is beyond stupid. DCE glazing needs to be taken back to the Manly forum it's beyond absurd at this point.Comment

I'm not convinced with Sandon. Still has too many wrong options in his play and is always good for a forward/bad pass at crucial times. His defence is suspect too.
I think the Savala at 5/8 and Walker at half is a great combo, but i think DCE 5/8, Walker Half and Savala lock could work too.

Sandon Smith is a keeper , I feel it would be a massive mistake to let him go for DCE or even KP.
He is turning into an attacking weapon , has pleanty of pace and plays direct.
I wasn't a big fan at the start but he is really finding his feet now and has improved out of site , looking more and more confident with each performance.
He has out played The sharks and Bulldogs halves in the last 2 weeks IComment
