Amen...but, the selfish part of me is happy they didn't take him for Origin...and we got to play him v Sharks.

Next year we could potentially have 8+ players if you add Robson, potentially DCE, Walker, Teddy (depending if Edwards is injured), Marky, Billy. Even someone like Foketi at the rate of his improvement but no idea if he would represent NZ.
Of course we'd get no byes again.

As a broader comment I'm glad we get to use him as he's a terrific leader and NSW is its own thing.


IMO much was made about Edwards and Moses last year for no real reason. Also, Teddy was sacked quite disrespectfully. To me part of the issue was that it was his job and he was captain. Now he's outta the circle and not being invited to anything. He's taken it like a pro and continued to build his game whereas Edwards' team is doing shyte and nobody's saying 'OMG we should dump Edwards and Cleary because their club's outta form'.

Though we have dumped Luai, who's played a team that's won multiple wooden spoons into form! To me Luai's done nothing to deserve being dumped and Moses was always just a makeshift option for when Cleary's out.

IDK! Last year NSW were stacked and the Sua'ali'i incident is responsible for our round 1 loss. Our team's stacked this year and SHOULDN'T lose (like last year). If we do, I reckon it could help break some of the tension as we seem to be somehow indebted to various players who have zero form this season and we probably woulda won without last season.
