Wow what a victory totally missed the game due to my ridiculous starting times at work this week, I cannot wait to sit down and watch the game when I get home, near full strength Sharkies and the kids destroyed them, honestly I thought we were a punchers chance that’s it.
I love how this team is travelling atm looking ahead 1-3 seasons can be anything.

You probably missed my post with 20min to go (around 8:53pm to be exact) about how its such a very very impressive win.
So sorry to disappoint you in my praise of the team which includes the coach.

This one scares me too with the combo of a damp track and Gosford. On paper the Sharks have too much experience and stability for us. But on the plus side it's a good opportunity for some young bucks with nothing to lose.
Need a big boot game from Hugo.
Story in the paper yesterday about the Steep family home affected by flooding in Port Mac. Lost some stuff and have been unable to get to Gossy to watch Blake play. Thoughts with them and all affected by these devastating floods.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs

It's not a difficult skill set to pass the ball backwards. Maybe a little bit harder when you're in full flight or have just burst through a gang tackle, but Smith does this without fail, every single game.
Otherwise, he had a pretty solid game. I'm impressed with the massive improvement in his goal kicking.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs

The post-match round table discussion was even worse with that "I'm just one of the boys" Yvonne Sampson yukking it up with former pros who must seriously hate having to share a desk with her. She's a fkn insufferable bint.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs

So many good players tonight. Special mention to both our halves Hugo and Sandon including great kicking (do we need Walker?). And Vic was outstanding in his milestone game. Other mentions to Toups, Ted and even E Butch.

No quieter forum on the internet than the Chookpen after a big Roosters win.
Last night was fantastic. I said we could only win by being more enthusiastic than them, and I expected them to be a bit flat after last week. Honestly, that wasn’t strictly true. It wasn’t just enthusiasm that won it for us - we were just a much better football team.
Seeing some good stuff from E Butch which reminds me why I liked him so much when he debuted. He looks good.
Marky Mark unbelievable. I can hardly remember a more explosive player. He seems to surge and accelerate extremely quickly.
I don’t know if it’s concentration, fatigue or nerves, but we do need to fix up the back ends of each half. Particularly the seconds halves. Ennis was saying we’d be 1st if games ended at 60 minutes this year. That’s wild.
I was really happy for Dom in the first half—as one of his biggest critics. Was super physical, ran straight and hard, nothing stupid, used his pace, seemed focused. Seemed to lose some of that in the second half, which was probably my only sour note.
Sensational win and not even carried by a single player or two. Just a fantastic team effort, from a bunch of young guys who look hungry.
We’re high key one of the form teams of the comp. If we scalp the Raiders next week, people will really start taking notice.
