That was my take on it too. My read was we are trying the kids this year to see who has potential & then we have another plan for next year which is bring DCE in for them to learn off & face another year of maturing. DCE then goes & Hugo or whoever sticks around steps in & takes the spot. He didn’t dismiss DCE coming & said next year & this year both have plans.

I suspect it will be announced after Young signs with the Knights. Maybe when Pauga recovers we will give Knights what they want with Young for free for this year. Young is playing like he is worthless.

I thought Young showed some signs of improvement at least in intent with bringing the ball back but he’s still shot scared of the high ball. He’s definitely a liability under it and in defence.

Young has lost all confidence. Not just under the high ball. The crabbing sideways started last year when he kept dropping the ball when smashed front on.
