if you watch the first half you'd have thought it was us who was on top of the table. we made too many errors in the second half but credit to the dogs - they did well to come back

Parra were lost without Moses, Broncos are mud without Reynolds, take the starting half out of most teams in the comp and they crumble. We're playing well in most games but lack the polish to ice these close games and that will come with Walker's return.

The Sandon Smith pile on is a bit much, he isn't Sam Walker but he isn't our primary halfback either he deserves less criticism.

We don't need DCE we just need Walker back, this is spot on.
When I looked yesterday to find the result, I knew straight away we'd lost when I saw a thread comparing Smith to Luke Brooks.
Aside from a couple of errors, Smith went ok.
I fully expect him to make way when Walker returns, but for now he's doing the best he can.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him.
We haven't had a world champ since Alan Jones.

            The good old days!

Piastri is making F1 enjoyable again.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Oscar has Lando covered. I have never understood the hype with Lando. He is still as inconsistent as he was when well beaten by Russell in F2.

They weren't that good. We made it easy through our errors and our defence in the middle was abysmal. Jason Taylor and Ciraldo would have caught on and insisted in the sheds, they go through us & that's how they would score points.

We play them at full strength and I'm confident we beat them. That is of course, contingent on our coaching staff identifying our defence deficiencies and addressing them asap. Are our players unfit because it looked like it, seeing Watson and others stretching out or being wrong-footed??

                    I thought Collins looked gassed.
they strolled past him a few times.

add sam walker to the team and we've got their measure. our d could have been better on their tries but burton and xerri ran good lines

Probably not but stick solid and we may well start.a run in 27 .This buying big name players hasn't worked out real well of late .We have some great talent coming along and should build a team around that .

A few weeks ago Sandon Smith was the best thing since sliced bread and this week he is a leper, how quickly opinion can turn on a guy around here.

The Dogs had 4 forwards out you add Salmon, Curran, Sitilli & Preston to their team & they're serious contenders. Their backline is lethal so I dont know if we've got their measure if Sammy played.

Just watched a replay and amazing Stephen Chrichtons hit on Lindsay , 3rd offence , only gets grade 1 and no suspension and Whytes MCL injury in last 20 seconds of the game from a classic hip drop gets zero grading from review next day. Some very lucky dogs...wish we got such outcomes...

Sam Walker would have made zip all difference to last night's result. Our capitulation came off unforced errors and soft middle defence to defend them.
