One thing is for sure, give the hammer some space and he scores every time.

also we had no kicker and missed a few concessions which made the score line look more closer than it was.
The Hammer should be the Qld 1. He is so much more potent than Walsh.

      I can see the resemblance.

Wife thinks he looks like the dude from The Bear.

      • Great game from us yesterday. Everyone in attack I thought was great. Defence was great for 60mins or so, then dropped off. Teddy and Radley were my two absolute standouts - Teddy looked as sharp and as fast as he’s ever looked and Radley is his best at lock. He should never play second row again.

First time going to Magic round and Suncorp. I can understand why people rate Suncorp as the best Rugby League stadium. It’s an amazing stadium to watch league in, and it has an aura about it that far exceeds other League stadiums I’ve been to.
        EASTS TO WIN!

        • I reckon cheese coming back and if he finds some form , cause I reckon late in the season rads may need a break for a game or 2 especially if we are likely to make the 8 .

rads looks so beat up , but played great last night

No, but I think Herbie Farnworth looks like Reece 'Pretty Girl' Walsh's older brother.

            • Fantastic game by the boys last, but I'm still mightily pee'd off!

Other than the contentious ZDC no-try, I can't find too much fault with the ref and the bunker.

              • First time all year where I didn’t notice the refs involvement ruining the game, hardly noticed him to be fair..

The phins have strong outside backs but they also will give up the odd try or two. I'm confident that if we play like last week we will win.

Momentum is key for the phins, they ran through the Storm when they had consecutive sets. Marky Mark to get a double and Rads to have a big game in the middle. Teddy to just play his usual great running game.

                  Roosters by 10.

                  • How goodIt was a great win by the Roosters. The policy of giving youth a go , is finally paying handsome dividends.
All of the Roosters young guns are beginning to impress.
I will say that they have the potential to go much further than people expect at the pointy end of the season.
Perhaps the only area of concern is that the defence looks a little shaky at times ( particularly in the second half)
Then again, no team would have been capable of stopping the Hammer’s 2 tries.
How good was the Knights victory over the vermin. I had money on Pongs, Best, Marzhew, and Fletcher Sharpe tearing apart the Bunnies, and they delivered.
Long tall Sally is the master coach ? Hardly. Souffs we’re virtually one out all afternoon with runs just one pass off the ruck. Bash and barge stuff. Hardly surprising that they only scored one try off a spilt bomb.
Bennett should hand in his coaching licence and retire in sunny Queensland.
Tavola, Keppie and Arrow look like old, slow plodders and the only forward that I rate is Koolamatungi.
On that performance they will be heading down to the spoon area of the ladder, which pleases me no end.

                    • The replay is just as enjoyable.

Savala is deceptively quick! He has nice soft hands and a neat short kicking game to compliment his big boot. He has great vision and a slick passing game left and right.

This kid is growing on me big time. The club seriously needs to consider upgrading his contract beyond 2026.
