    Funny how things work out!
And exactly why a club should never allow a player to gain a position of power in negotiations with certain contract clauses.
There willl always be someone else to take their place and the club is bigger then any individual.

100%. Business owners should also apply the same approach in the work place imo.

A lot of the players who left were out of form and disinterested. The new blood has added the long time missing mojo to the team.Savanna was my MOTM match with 3 try assists and one scored. Our halves are playing so well and if they continue to do so what do we do with Walker? Sandon’s goal kicking is brilliant. I wouldn’t let Savana go. It’s a nice problem to have but I would like to keep them all as we are sure to have injuries like with Sam.

He gave Iro and that wanker Mulitalo a bath they were at 6’s and 7’s all night long. I can’t believe he’s barely 15 nrl games into his career and making seasoned players look like amateurs another season and he will be amongst the best in the game.

We won that bidding war with RUGBY AUS.

This is one of the reasons Robbo initially dropped Young.
This is the modern version of the game of rugby league. The attacking spiral bomb on the last tackle is a weapon in the modern game. The Sharks back 3 looked suspect against Savala’s bombs last night, and Will Kennedy looked really shaky - led to X Va’a s try.The same thing happened in the Riff game that the Roosters won earlier this year against Penrith, when the Riff spilled the ball countless times, and the Roosters capitalised.
Nicho Hynes put up some high ones against us last night as well that put us under pressure - only confident if Teddy or Toops diffuse them.
The Roosters we’re on the receiving end against Burton and the Bulldogs last week and we know how that turned out.
Yardage from your wingers early in the set is so important, as well as the ability of your forwards to get to the halfway line. With field position , and an attacking kick on the last, your team has the upper hand.

I didn’t mention it last week, but I think anyone criticising Marks catching technique is pretty misguided. He has fantastic technique. His main issue is actually attacking the ball too much, when he arguably doesn’t need to. But you’d rather that than a back who is scared to catch it.

The first one he dropped (from memory) last week was pretty much uncatchable. Genuinely. The other ones were where he attacked the ball at 100 miles an hour, and if you do that you’re a chance of dropping it no matter how good your technique is.

in the post game interview, it sounded like he really enjoyed giving it to Mulitalo last night. I actually don’t mind Ronaldo, but it was good to see someone give it back to him.

Also, has there even been a higher highlight clips to games played ratio than Marks? The dude is doing stuff that would make some players career highlights every week.

                      100%.

When the opposition fullback catches the ball uncontested on his 20 metre line and then is tackled beyond his 30 metre line and this occurs countless times in a game you will struggle. This highlights that your yardage and long kicking game aren't up to scratch.

We really struggled in this department when Sandon and Chad were our halves and Young was on the wing.

Hugo's boot is priceless in the modern game when speed and fatigue play a major factor in a games outcome!

Watch NSW dominate field position courtesy of their yardage game.

Albanese's playing well... we should have more Italians in our backline as they're all guns.

I am running with the name Savana as well.

True but remember the scare we gave the Riff with our kicks and Dom running to the catcher. Edwards didn't have a great night.

Marky last week seemed to be going early for those high kicks, not sure if that was nerves or what. Miss one or two and its gonna play with your confidence, especially on the big stage......just saying

I saw somewhere that prior to the Dogs game he was 15 from 16 taking the high ball.
It's easy for people to remember the one bad game without considering the circumstances of Burton hitting the clouds before the ball descends, in the wind and wet conditions with all but one being contested.

It seems the last few weeks many teams are not even contesting bombs. We were guilty of that last night.

Marky is twice the player Suaalii is.

                                At least.
