    I realise it's not the easiest way to present them but they're not my stats, if I can get a hold of the raw statistics I'll re-do the formula but I don't have them on hand.

    It's not impossible, people just like to present statistics different ways.

      It's wrong though. 100% is the whole number. 100% of 10 is 10... 10 - 150% = -5. etc

It pains me to see our Centres not get any ball in space and the ability to hit the line at pace.
        Which suggests the game plan suits the players strengths rather than the other way round. Hence Oldfield wont have to adapt to anything which has always been my stance, people get carried away with the dummy half crap when in fact it suited our team because SKD & Perrett can be great metre eaters coming out of our own end.

          It is impossible to decrease dummy half runs by more than 100%.. period.. the easiest way to present the formula is (new-old)/old.

            Wasn't my formula should be;

            ((new-old)-1)*100 if I remember correctly.

              trust me, take my formula.. I do this stuff for a living. justjuice's point above is spot on.. to have > 100% you would require negative dummy half runs.

                  The way Oldfield just dropped an absolute sitter of a pass by looking at the defence, and which Melbourne capitalised upon to score the first try, he will do well here!

                        After seeing him in reserve grade a fair bit it's pretty obvious he's simply tall, fast and finishes well, and that's about all the strings he has to his bow. That suits playing for manly perfectly but i doubt it will be enough for the Roosters. He can make an absolute clanger too. Less urgency cleaning up kicks than moga and capable of worse brain explosions than SKD. There just isn't many quality wingers in the comp. Probably why they are wingers. Here's hoping our young forward pack can start to develop decent engines and we can rely less on wingers running from dummy half, and start to dominate field position often so that he is only really called upon to finish backline movements.

                            Does anybody remember how he very nearly let us back into the game vs Manly last year on half time by not picking up a kick, only to have SKD butcher the chance? He will fit in nicely.
