That's because our forwards took the runs in our end. Looking at the stats Moga, BJ and Henry all had 9 runs or less. Our starting forwards in FPN, Kennedy, JWH and Guerra all had 10 runs or more. It might not seem like much but it's no doubt a change from what we usually do.

I just hope they keep doing it.

in saying that, We are also known for making some great comebacks towards the end of games.

If you're asserting that our game plan has been much different in the last month as opposed to the last 2-3 years then you are sadly mistaken.

In our last 5 games (rounds 10-15) our backs have averaged 53 runs & 5.8 dummy half runs per game.

From rounds 1-9 our backs averaged 67.5 runs & 13 dummy half runs per game.

That's a decrease of 27% in outside back runs & a 124% decrease in dummy half runs from our outside backs.

In 2011 our outside backs averaged 62.6 runs & 12.5 dummy half runs per game, compared to our last 5 games there's also been a decrease of 18% in runs from our outside backs and a 116% decrease in dummy half runs from our outside backs.

Since SKD has been injured the number has dropped right off. Both Moga and Henry don't take a lot of dummy half runs.. With the guys we have in our forward pack, we needn't have backs take too many hitups.. I would love to see some backline moves with some depth in our attack though.. It pains me to see our Centres not get any ball in space and the ability to hit the line at pace.

imo fitness is a huge issue.. Friend was on the bench for the first 20 minutes but was busted with 15 to go.. Other forwards such as Guerra and Aubo were just falling off tackles and our defensive line had holes all over the place. I can forgive Pearce as he played origin but he tends to get brain fade at crucial times.

Michael Oldfield can be the next Shannen Hegarty and our saviour wow wow I cant believe it he will win a Clive Churchill and Premiership with us. One of the greatest wingers in the comp.
Lachlan Maranta would also be a solid signing
I was hoping Lafai was also off-contract but in 2013 unfortuneately would've liked him. If Perret goes I hope we trade him.

yeah.. it is a 55% decrease against the first 9 rounds and a 54% against 2011.
