Hardest gig in the business, getting decent young blokes in key positions to travel to bleak city and play second fiddle to some of the best players in the game.Yes it is great to play with them and under Bellamy, but these kids want to play 1st grade
Whats the NRL salary cap got to do with his NYC team?

Name me the players he has lost in the last couple years due to origin?

Your kidding arn't you? Storm get some of the best young NZ and QLD talent going around.

Taylor is a very good coach has done a great job with the nyc side, if he gets moga, cordner and sheck back for the finals i reckon he will win a nyc premiership for us.

          Zero.

He is doing a great job with a young squad and the people who matter see it this way as well.

There will be no change of coach.
I tend to agree & believe the Roosters should honour his contract. When it expires I doubt very much it will be extended though, IMO.

            Ok where do I start....

Lets start with the fact that Pay started coaching the Storm U20's in 2010.

            http://www.rleague.com/content/article.php?id=34807

Vea, he is currently 25 born in 1985 and has never been eligable for any NYC year (only players born in 1988 or later).
Or did you mean Vave? Well he was at the Titans during his time in NYC and only just moved to the Storm this year. Not eligable for NYC.

Guerra born in 1988 wasn't eligable to play in 2010 so he is ruled out to.

Neilson was also born in 1985, never played NYC.

Proctor, born in 1989 therefor his last year in NYC was 2009, before Pay arrived.

Jesse Bromwich is the same as Proctor.

So Duffie made his debut round 7 2010 so yes he was missing at stages in Pays first year however 2010 was his last year in NYC as he was born in 2010.

O'Neill too made his debut in 2010 so he missed a few games that year aswell as 2011. He is no longer eligable in NYC as he was born in 1991.

So in summary he has had Duffie gone for a couple games in 2010 and then O'Neill for a couple that year as well as 2011 as O'Neill has never really cemented his spot untill this year. So whats the next excuse?

I reckon Taylor is the future.

He's a smart bastard who gut stitched up at Souths.

Probably took his first 1st grade gig too early, and at a club that lacked the back office support. But who can blame him for that.

We'd be mad to let him go.

You want defence and structure, he is the man, Taylor can look after the set plays and kicking games.
Didn't Pay leave at the end of 2002?

Well Tom you may be right , but that means we just settle for mediocrity.Smith might be a nice guy but he doesn't know how to win a premiership. He doesn't get a team to concentrate for 80 minutes. He doesn't know how to train set backline plays or know how to train players to handle bombs. He doesn't come across as confident and to blame the refs for everything undermines a teams self belief....That's not the ROOSTERS I want.

Agree fletch, JT seems to have a different team every week yet the boys all know their roles and play to or near to potential each week, great job JT.

Yeh from what I remember he did it as a favour for Ricky, said he'd help him out in his first season as they were good mates. Wasn't with us in 2003 & 2004 though.

All current coaches are under contract for next year.Unless we are after Furner or Kearney, can not see too many other clubs releasing their coach to us early...
