SKD and MAubs in 2010 improved dramatically due to Brian moving them to their proper positions, the rest it's hard to answer as most made their debut under Smith or were fringe first graders when he came to the club.

I do however feel Brian's time is up, have for a while now.

Maubs quality was evident to see well prior to Smith arriving. He was always quality on that right edge running off Pearce. 2010 he was playing the same but benefited from Carney and Pearce setting the world alight. What has happened to him ever since then? Shadow of his former self.

Same can be said of SKD, he was always good for a few tries and just like Maubs had a great season on the back of Carney. His diabolical defense and poor handling have not been addressed and he is pretty much the same player that made grade many moons ago. The difference is that he gets more touches at centre.

The fact that we have seen every player regress in first grade since Brian Smith has been here shows that it isn't so much a personnel issue but rather a coaching issue.

Seriously, can anyone name a player that has flourished under Smith during his tenure ?

I can only think of BJ, even though one could argue that it is only his natural talent that is on show and the deficiencies in his game have not been addressed.

Think you're being completely harsh. SKD was the form centre, that wasn't completely on the back of carney. The likes of Tasi, Kenneddy, Cordner etc are slowing developing. Jake Friend is another one imo, Conn was outstanding in 10 as well, you have Arona, Guerra. Would contribute that to smith.
