    Wouldn't be a bad fit right? We've been missing a long kicking game since forever...

    Looks like Tauks the Dozer is gonna go to Manly on a T&T.

    A few Dragons mates have sent me angry texts indicating that fans reckon Uncle Nick's releasing May so that he can sign Hunt immediately on big $$$. Seems inconsistent with current murmurings though?

    I calculate approximately 3.275 mill of cap still to spend for the 2025 season - All Clubs must spend 97.5 % of their cap - The story doing the rounds that the Dogs were 3 to 4 mill under the cap is bollocks - may front load contracts but still have to spend the minimum 97.5%

    Roosters

    Known Players leaving

    JWH - 600K
    Keary - 800k
    Manu - 800k
    Suaalii - 750k
    Sitili - 600k
    * May - 500k

    * To be confirmed

    4.050 mill of players leaving

    Known Re-Signings/New signings/Upgrades

    Toops - 400k - re-signing
    Nawaqanitawase - 450k - new signing
    Watson - 200k - Upgrade
    Leniu - 275k - Upgrade

    1.325 mill spent in Re-signing/New Signings/Upgrades

    2025 Salary Cap - 11.400 Mill plus 300k Long Serving Player/Development allowance and 100k Motor Vehicle - $ 11.800 mill

    Approximate cap remaining plus 300k long serving player/development allowance plus 100k motor vehicle allowance - 5 players 20k each

    4.050 mill - 1.325 mill = 2.725 mill

    2.725 mill available plus 150k increase in cap from plus 300k LSPDA and 100 k MV's - $ 3.257 mill

    Approximately 3.275 mill of cap to spend

    Up to 9 top 30 squad spots to fill now with 21 confirmed signings if May's departure is confirmed- Minimum wage is 135k

    Not sure if money will be set aside for Manu's possible return mid season? - 500k

    Leo Thompson is the only half decent frontie on the market, surely we don't go into next season without replacing May

    Yeah I believe May will end up at the mutts. The question is who do we have in our sights? Maybe Wishart? Burton would be great but he's under contract at the dogs. Wishart is too but has players in front of him. Maybe we are going after Hunt.

    Gus freed up half a million last night. We must have a number of players lined up ready to come in 2025 or keen to sign for 2026.

    You don’t sack a player with the upside may has without a bloody good reason you have to trust the club with this one

    Wouldn’t it be nice.

    Can anyone honestly see him leaving his old man at this point of his career though?

    Certainly going to be an interesting year next year. At least we won't have Premiereship pressure on us.

    May posted a story on his Instagram where he had a picture of the article (where the Roosters tell him he can leave), and he added the words "Not off-field related" or some such.
    I believe he has also deleted all of his Roosters posts from his account.

    Moves like this leave us in a bad way up front with Jarred gone as well. The only thing I can think of is we’re quite happy with the Va’aa bros and they are very good. Having them and Collins and Leniu may be enough and make room in the cap to go after a big star but who? This seems to be happening on November 1st so I think we are freeing up cap.

    I wonder if the club go sick of him banging on about how his brothers would be a good fit
