Yeh I dunno, he just got back from holidays with his family.

I know as a boss myself I try to do my best not to bug my guys when they're trying to detatch from work on days off or annual leave.

I hear what you're saying but the best part of that Teddy interview for me is how fresh he said he felt with the time off on holidays and not playing rep footy. I'd take that over him being bugged during his holidays so he could be prepared with a response to the question.

Team selection and tactical decisions, sure. But if I was a player I wouldn't want my captain having a say in my contract, creates a weird dynamic.

Though my rig is comparable to Peter Andre's at his prime, I'm still jelly of these boys.
All the old surfers that I know (65 plus) that still surf very well and pretty much on a daily basis have these things in common.

    1. They don't drink alcohol.
    2. They regularly do yoga or some form of stretching.
    3. They weigh no more than 75 kg
    4. They smoke weed or make special butter as a alcohol replacement.

The older you get the harder it is to pop up onto your feet when surfing. This becomes increasingly more difficult if you're over weight.

Or perhaps the best way to avoid delving into a sticky matter is to plead ignorance.

    Unwanted May’s Ciraldo connection

If there is one coach in the NRL Terrell May could feel comfortable playing for and trusting, apart from Roosters mentor Trent Robinson, it is Canterbury’s Cameron Ciraldo.

The May family trust Ciraldo and hold him in high regard. It goes back to his days as a Panthers assistant coach. May has frequently lent on the Bulldogs coach to get him through challenging times, and you can be sure the pair would have talked after the Roosters told the forward he was free to negotiate with other clubs.

Such is his relationship with the Bulldogs that May had, in fact, agreed to join Canterbury prior to a last-minute management change, joining the Roosters in 2022 instead.

There has been chatter that the May brothers — Terrell, Tyrone and Taylan — are again trying to somehow package themselves up into a deal, but that is hard to fathom, particularly given the serious situation that Taylan is in with the law, where he is facing domestic violence-related charges.

Roosters players have privately confided that Terrell has not been a disruptive figure at the club, but they also feel the call that was made by Robinson to move him on was the right one. It is fortunate for the Roosters that May will be able to land himself a deal bigger than the one he was on at Bondi Junction, so he won’t consider any kind of recourse against the club that re-signed him for two years in April.
I guess the Bulldogs will do their own investigating before they potentially sign him.

You'd want to know the reason why a player of May's calibre is now surplus to needs.

Perhaps the Dragons and Flanno are a better fit.

It seems like 100% just the club backflipping on their decision to re-sign him based on his attitude which is poor form. He didn't change as a person during his time at the club so if he didn't align with our culture we shouldn't have resigned him. Simple.

Can some please post the below article? Thanks in advance.

I can’t link the story but it’s Dragons, Bulldogs of course and Tigers.

That's not what happened. My information doesn't come from social media.
Everyone, I mean everyone was shocked by the news including Terrell and his team mates.
It was an early morning wake up call by Robbo. Was it Robbo's idea? I don't think so, he was just told to pull the trigger.

So why? It can't be just to cover Samuel Walker's demands, Teddy is not going to screw the club over, the only other guy we need to sign is Rob Toia and he is a rookie.
We had money sitting there and now we have more money. It has to be for Hunt.

How are Roosters fans upset at the club being ruthless? The fans call for this type of stuff every year with half the squad but now May is untouchable.
Ruthless the better. Bit much for the quivering hearts around here though.
