  • One 'Violent' training session

Thought this was interesting. Vic commenting that JWH inspired a very brutal session that put the Penrith game to bed and set the scene for Manly. Makes one proud.

I noticed Vic went off in the 29th minute after making a tackle , I think on Brooks...then replaced by Butcher. Any Intel on whether he hurt his shoulder in the tackle as the game was then only 8-0.

Some on here say JWH is selfish or he’s let the team down but without JWH being the way he is the Roosters wouldn’t be a force. Without him the Roosters wouldn’t be premiers in 2018 & 2019, he is the ultimate warrior.

He also makes the other forwards accountable. Collins ran like a marshmallows the week before.

Nothing selfish about the beast, he’s the tip of the ****ing spear without him we’re not who we are, I have said before there is no bigger player then the club but if there is an equal it’s JWH what a blessing this man has been for our club, best front rower to represent us, yes the best Beetson was before my time but I have watched plenty of his games Jared is on another level.

Hope they do the same this week.

How good would it be to beat the Storm. We are bloody over due.

I think he is being let go 1 year too soon. Even if we get 12 games out of him in 2025 id have him in the team

Don't know if we have a realistic hope next year so happy to give the young brigade some much needed NRL experience. Probably why we also let Sitili go early.

Future looks great after next year imo.

                    Is Collins injured?

Just doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the form he displayed last season?

I had him as probably our best forward on the weekend (bar Connor) but yes it was a big improvement on recent shows. I think Swamptrout is on the money how much JWH lifts those around him.

It's all about the forward battle and how that impacts the opening 20 minutes. When it comes down to it I believe that our pack will put everything on the line including their wellbeing to win this game.

Only Klown can potentially stop us.

Ultimate warrior wouldn't have thrown the game away vs Souths a couple years back. I love JWH when his motivations line up with team's best interests as it did on the weekend, and as it did when he was robbed of the Clive Churchill medal in 2019.

JWH will make a fantastic forwards coach in retirement.

                            ^^^^ This.

Jared IS our pack. His performances set the tone for the way the rest of the forwards play. I fear for how this play out without him next year. I just don't yet see that Collins, May or Leniu can possibly fill that void. At least not in 2025.

maybe it's cos he's leaving, maybe it's just cos he's a winner, but jwh was a man on a mission last week. the forwards lay a good platform again this week and we'll give it a shake
