Melbourne
Broncos
Sharks
Manly
Souths
Cowboys
Tigers
Bulldogs
The difference between that 8 and the rest of the competition at the moment is enormous. Only Warriors and Titans will push that bunch.
Storm (short of an injury to their key 3 they are streets ahead)
Broncos (sensational mix of youth and experience - where we will be in a year or two)
Manly (Quality right across the park - but a bit suspect in coaching)
Bulldogs (Very good squad and very good coach who is getting them there)
Sharks (Will falter a bit through Origin and I think are still punching a bit above their weight)
Rabbits (hate to say it but Maguire has them on the up)
Cowboys (too poor in Sydney to finish too much higher)
Take your pick - Saints, Roosters, Warriors?? - plenty of season yet and there will still be some surprises at the bottom of the eight.

Tigers are MILES ahead of us and the Dragons right now, and once they get Ellis back will only be better.
I'll put the tigers in that 8th spot fight - don't rate em, they rely too much on freakishness and not enough on footy.
With that Sironen kid coming through as well as Ellis eventually returning I don't think we even stand a chance at beating them or the Warriors on the ladder come RD26
I'll just assume it's the RW&B tinted glasses, because we are contenders for the spoon not the top 8, unless some drastic changes occur.

Mate, I am confident we are closer to the eight than the spoon. I'm not saying we will make the eight but I haven't written us off yet - mainly due to the fact that the team is young and improving so I don't think a winning streak in the second half of the season is out of the question.
I think the Warriors have a possibility of cracking it, same with Dragons to a lesser extent. Apart from those 10, i don't rate any of the other teams chances.

I reckon Titans will give it a decent crack, Aiden Sezer is a great player and they have always lacked a decent 5/8, now that he is there they have been in good form last few weeks and they have a good pack and wingers with immense speed. Pity for them Idris has been a dud signing so far.
