It's Hyundai most-likely getting an upgrade as a major sponsor but from what I've heard, ever since the Vegas trip the club (especially Politis) has been looking for a major, well-known sponsor to give the Roosters that world class look, feel and appeal. With the new stadiums, pathways, all the new partnership and arrangements with USA Rugby League, etc the club wants more global exposure and to be put on the same calibre as the NBA, NFL , EPL teams (well that's the thinking). If it's not Hyundai (which is the odds on favourite) and coming in at second place is Allianz, don't be surprised to see a major multinational finance and insurance corporation like "AIG or AON" or an airline make an appearance as a sponsor next year.

Maybe the return of Samsung ?

What will happen to the Roosters Steggles Charity Nest when Steggles departs as the major sponsor- reportedly has raised over 5.5 million so far

Established in 2010, the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest sees Roosters major partner Steggles donate $1,000 for every point the Roosters win by, with the Roosters also contributing $250 per point.

The Sydney Roosters NRL team will wear a Charity Nest-themed jersey in this Sunday’s Round 26 fixture against the Canberra Raiders. The jerseys will be auctioned at the conclusion of the match, with all proceeds going to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest.

          From Rothfield today:

          SHOOSH
Which NRL club has recently signed the richest deal with a jersey sponsor in the game’s long history. It will nearly double the amount some other clubs are getting. You will read all about it in the very near future.

No thank you. Just wanted to confirm to everybody that it is Hyundai just for the people that are still guessing.

It will be Hyundai, a massive global brand.

I did their ad campaigns in Australia for a few years and they don’t mess around. Proper Korean corporate royalty.

Amazing how we had Samsung for so many years too - another Korean monolith.

Looking back at the vintage Samsung jerseys is kind of surreal. It’s akin to being sponsored by Apple. And the other clubs had Dada uniforms and sh1te like that on their jerseys.

I’m taking about the late 90s here. The Fitler years when they were our jersey sponsor

No its not, its not a South Korean or Japanese car company.
Thirteen knows who it is & so do I but it cant be disclosed yet.
                                Definitely a car company though.
