We defended horribly and brilliantly at the same time. Scramble at the end was awesome. The 1st half stuff was dreadful goal line D for us.

Stand by the fact it was a corporate spectacle to advertise the game to Perth and it was reffed as such. Joey sin bin and the farcical call from the bunker on JS were not accidents.

Our defence has become a bit of a concern in the last few weeks; 34 points against is inexcusable. Tonight I think we were missing some size and aggression in the middle. We need JWH back on deck and we certainly missed Collins when he went off. I still think Watson at 14 and Whyte at 13 is better for the team as Watson has more impact when playing against tired defences. Our backline yet again had to be reshuffled through injury and leaked plenty of points. Yet again some dumb penalties and decision making by those who should know better.

Sam Walker can name his price; just bloody outstanding and best on field. I was worried when Sitili was moved to centre but he did a bloody good job tonight. May, Crichton and Teddy also went well.

Sutton wasn’t as bad as expected, but the bunker was shithouse yet again.

Well we got the 2 points which is big coming into the bye to hold 3rd for another 2 weeks and hopefully good gap for top 4
very up and down performance by some good attacking plays and same very average defence

the Manu send off was atrocious he his his chest, if hammer stayed down why wasn’t he sent to the HIA?

let’s hope manu gets off and injuries are not to bad. Collins will be back after the bye, hopefully young hammy not to bad - butch didn’t look great

Much better 2nd half from the guys as far as control and discipline goes. 3 injured and one in the Bin was a gutsy effort. Improved defence as well.

Congrats to Walker winning the Beetson medal and special mention to Gus. He is having a phenomenal season, love that he's become an offload king too.

Still can’t get over the bunker overruling on the Bostock interference with Suaalii…

Since when did eyes for the ball become the only thing that matters when obstructing or taking out another player.

By that logic you could just send your props charging at wingers mid-air so long as the prop is looking at the ball it’s fair game….

Spencer was unusually quiet tonight with only 57 metres in 49 minutes. I would have expected him to stand up after Collins went off but not so tonight. Whyte played just 15 mins but ran for 56 metres; he definitely needs more game time. May was our most dominant forward yet again with 126m and 38 tackles in 65 mins.

The irony was that Sutton disagreed with the bunker decision and made it quite clear that he thought it was wrong by asking if they thought he was playing for the ball, trying to give them the right answer.
