It says we have to sign Sammy to keep Lloyd...doesn't say we have to play him first grade.

If Lloyd is that good sign em both and play Sammy in Newtown as back up for injuries.

    Chook.

His job is to do the best deal for his client, in line with his clients wishes. If Lloyd wants to play with his brother, than this is a key requirement in the manager meeting his objectives.

I have not seen Lloyd play so can't comment. With regard to Sam it all comes down to what changes, if any, there are going to be to the long serving player allowance. Sam is a solid squad player and if we can secure him with part of his salary exempt from the cap then great. I think the issue is however that he will want a 3 year deal.

I don't have a problem with them being put out there as a package deal - they are brothers after all. Isn't that what the Simms brothers do as well - if you want Tariq, Ashton's part of the deal?

The Roosters have to make a decision as to whether they believe Lloyd is worth developing as well as whether Sam is worth keeping. Would either of them be looking at huge money? And Sam must be close to getting some part of the 'loyalty' discount, unless we've spent it all on Mini.

Never read so much bullshit, anyone who knows sammy knows he would never ride off his brother. I say keep him, plying outside SKD will always limit scoring chances, his dummy half running is awesome add that the positive influence on the young kids

                    Easy.

Sign Sam for $150-200k a season and play him as a back up winger in case we have any injuries to our starting wingers. He is worth it if we can get him for this sort of money. He is a NZ rep and although he isnt brilliant, he is a reliable player and will be a good mentor for the younger guys coming through.

If we keep him, then we get the little brother.

P.s we should still have enough money to go after a star winger. I dont see the point in buying SBW, we have a huge amount of backrowers already. We are in need of a try scoring machine!!! Use that money to sign one!

You can't be giving 150-200k to a 'back up' player ffs.

I felt Sammy handled fullback quite well and was our best in a terrible year, didnt let his team down at all. Unlike the others..
