If we can get him for 4-5yrs at $900k that will look like a bargain in the last few years

Best brains of any half ..plenty of skill.Lacks pace.for mine now 800 grand but lack of halves he could earn 1.2 mill.

Yes, he would easily get $1M in the market and we need to keep him long-term.

Get some more zip in the pins, and stay in a big game/quality opp for 80 and we'll talk turkey.

He’s increasing his value with each game so the sooner we sign him up long term the better.

I'd go 4 years @ $800k a year. I'd also be talking to Dylan Brown's manager who from what i've heard wants a sea change. Most likely will head over the ditch but he hasn't had Robbo's French Onion Dip yet.
              What on NRL360?

Sams not a million dollar half but he's got the potential to be one if he remains the halfback.
I personally think Sandon Smith is more an organising half then Sam, I think Sam is more your off the cuff 5/8.

Fox reckons the Broncos are sniffing around.

I can't see how he can be on their radar and be looking for a million dollar contract. Walsh and Haas are on a million plus. Even the Broncos couldn't squeeze another one in.

As for his value, currently 700k and add a hundred each year and hopefully by the time he gets to 1.2m he will be the Australian halfback.

I think he is tbh. If u look at his form, there is a definite possibility that he’s a top 5 halfback this season and with the going rate of quality halves I don’t see y not

I look forward to Walker developing a short passing game, something we don't see a lot from him. Doesn't have any real pace even for a half so I expect him to become even more 'craft's he ages and gains more experience

i'd be happy with a 5 year deal for something around the 5m mark. a long contract is always a gamble but i'd back him to deliver
