Cons heavily out weigh the pros with Hayne unfortunately. I have nothing to say about his personal life. Professionally, had he not chosen to pursue a career in the NFL he could've been one of the greats. Imagine if he had come to us at the time instead.

      Tom Brady played till 45.
      Cam Smith played till 38.
He hasn't had bumps and bruises for 4 years. His body will be fully recovered.

I love a good redemption story.

      Let him rip!

I hope he plays somewhere, even England. He was found not guilty and if I was him I would be looking to make some money. I wish him well.

I think your on the mark Brucey. We are too quick to write off players on age. You dont get too old, you just get too lazy.

The question would be whether Robbo et al think the Plane suits our culture or not.

To clarify it - Hayne was not found not guilty at the appeal - the conviction was over turned on appeal

A conviction will only be overturned if they decide there was an error in the law at the original trial. • If a conviction is overturned, a re-trial may be ordered.

He could only be found not guilty in a new trial

David Williams is only 37. 9 years out of the game so will be well rested.

Jarryd Croker is only 33 years and a specialist centre, goal kicker and would have had 2 years off. He also grew up a Roosters supporter. Yeah Na Na

I wonder if being out of the game for 4+ years works in his favour longevity wise.

Who knows if he knuckled down and got as fit as he possibly could?
The desire would have to be there.

                    Great redemption story!

So he's innocent until proven guilty in a new trial?

I used to rate him at the Faders. Kinda remember him being a bit questionable in defence though.

Will his body have recovered from being somebody’s bitch for a couple of years.

Na, he is way past it and he still is a major arsehole, regardless of him being acquitted. The role he played in Neil Henry being sacked was disgraceful and shameless. He is a selfish player.
                            EASTS TO WIN!

I'd rather not have a player who was credibly found to have bitten a woman Ted Bundy style on her private parts. Not a good look for the team.

He was not found to be innocent. Just that the conviction was unsafe legally.
