In future I will appoint a proxy to start my threads for me so that I don't get too involved for your liking.

Your rationale is unparalleled on this forum..
The truth will set you free 6. One day you'll thank me.

You would have to be the most tiresome, irritating person on this forum, bar none. Why are you even on this forum, as your posts indicate that you’re clearly not having a good time?

Should we have some sort of "Pilot Medical Update" on all the users/profiles on the Chookpen ?

Some Bold & the Beautiful level drama going on around here ....

Don't spoil it...I think BBR and Rooster 6 end up getting married.

            So .....................................

Our backrowers for next year (probably) are out of the following:

            Angus
            Nat
            Rads
            Sit Still
            Wong
            Egan
            Steep
            Roberts

            Phoenix Steinwede
            Max McCathie
            Zac Saddler
            Zach Fittler
            Salesi Foketi
            Meli Nasau
            Jackson Pennell
            Tyler Essex

We seem flushed with 2nd rowers going ahead into 2025.

Crichton story at 1:46 where he confirms he wants to stay.

              Just don’t tell BBR.

The Roosters should thank Gus for saving us from signing that flop fafita.
                  He seen what most couldn't...

a lazy brain dead flat track bully that was going to take his spot.
I can see why he was offended.

Gus now demanding the same money as we put forward to David along with that car that Nick offered too.

With Fifita staying put and Papalii snapped up by the Panther it was always going to drive Gus's market value up especially after his SOO selection. Supply and demand.

I think Gus has been unfairly targetted by critiques here, on occassion. I think overall, he has been a good buy. Up and down at times, and mostly strong aside from obviously last year. And has been our best player on the park in many games.

That being said, I don't want us to be held to ransom here. He has had a great start to the season but I wouldn't be particularly comfy with us paying him 800k, with how his form can dip. For that money, I'd rather let him go and get Wong into the side longterm. He won't be as good as Gus right away, but after a season or two, I reckon it would be a better fit.

I believe Wong usually plays on the right? I'm sure he could adjust though.

don't have a problem with gus asking for the world but i think he should accept something with a 6 in front of it. this is his home

                            Hard one
as much as I’d love gus to resign and we will have the money for him it’s also like well he needs to re pay us this time though
not sign a 3-4 year deal then turn off again until his next contract year
If he can continue his form this year over the next 3-4 that will be fine but the roosters have stood by him and his inconsistent times

at his best though certainly worth this and easily one of the best backrowers in the comp

Would we have stuck by him if he was bog average? Doubt it. His job is to train and play hard for us this year. Apart from that Gus owes us nothing imo.

Would he stay? He was out the door himself last year shopping to Aus rugby and France
ATM that’s his job but if he re signs for 3-4 years his job is to play well for those 4 years not wait until the next contract year again
we havnt had consistent value for money from him yet so i would be hesitant re signing him for that long
no club wanted to look at him until round 4 this year
