IMO this will massively determine his long term future and not $ because any QLD based team will match or better our offer.

I can see Walker being a career Rooster. I don't think the Titans are any threat and if he did go there, it would have no impact on us and would likely see his career tailspin.

The only real threat is the Broncos but I really dont think it'll be an issue unless he has a falling out with the club somehow. This great QLD love is largely a myth given the majority of their best players of the last 20 years never played for a QLD team for their entire careers.

We've had plenty of Queenslanders in our system as well as other clubs who have stayed and are living in Sydney now.
Lindsay is a Queenslander at heart. I can't see him going anywhere any time soon.
I think it is a myth that players want to go back to Queensland. It's a shiit hole just like Victoria ffs.

The good ones are always a flight risk, usually to the Broncs. They have a tendency to get homesick for Australia's version of Texas.

Agree Zac - 10 years is way too risky.
I’d say 5 years with a 2 year option both-ways
