I can't think of any reason for Toops not to have 1 more year as a Roosters- unless he isn't enjoying the training side. His form is strong enough to keep on going in 2025 and then move on to Super League

Maybe it’s a more long term thing. 1 year with us then no option after,or a guaranteed 2 year gig now from Catalans. He may also feel that with kids around him in the backline & an old body it may be time to pull stumps now & enjoy the retirement league which is about country footy standard,yet still get good coin while living in an amazing country.

Who said anything about rebuilding? We will have a super pack of forwards. Whether we get fafita or not. Crichton has an offer on the table and might stay.
The smith/walker halves can create and kick as good as anyone.
Toops and Young on the wings and Pauga and smith in the centres until June when Manu returns.
