  • They are starting to talk

On NRL 360 tonight, if you didn't catch it, they were commenting that the pressure would start on the coach for the first time in his career if the Dragons roll us tomorrow. All four panelists agreed we are not playing the way we should with the quality of squad we have. Anasta believes Smith is more suited at lock. They are surprised that the way we finished last year hasn't continued into this season.

Anyway, see how it goes tomorrow.

I suspect they've been keeping their mouths shut for a long time. This below par start to the season has given the experts a green light to open up.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Not saying anything is going to happen but I can guarantee you that those guys would know a hell of a lot on the going’s on within club land than 99% of us fans.

Win or lose Robbo will still be the coach until he decides to walk away.

NRL 360 blokes scout The Chookpen to get their materials.

Heard the same BS last season and the one before that. Effort is there from the players which suggests that they respect and believe in the coach!

Respect and belief is fine, what about delivery?

I'm not yet calling for Robbo's head, but you have to admit, it's getting very bloody frustrating,

You keep saying that. If the team continues to underachieve something will have to give.

Nick doesn't say "losing is bad for business" for nothing.

We can always put a bid in for Demitriou. Can you think of any other candidates?

That's the problem for some I suppose. There aren't any.

NRL 360 and their broadcasts are shit as is Ch 9.
Fact - the NRL has a daily quota of written stories.
The media buffoons posing as journalists or having ex players charading as experts are just following the brief from above.
Even ex board member Gyngell when at 9 never supported Pearce, it was his brief to the network staff to crucify him resulting in $ for the NRL and Ch 9.
                            its a faaarked biz model.
