Here's some footage of Hugo playing for Scots in Rugby and Sydney Roosters in Jersey Flegg/SG Ball

A very tall half around 188 to 190 cm's I would say with all the skills - running, passing . organising and kicking game as well as a good goal kicker.

Been one of the best in NSW Cup so far this year

Wow,based on those highlights he looks like he could help our FG side now lol

Ball playing, goal kicking, great stepping and big bodied 5/8th is something our FG side lacks at the moment..

          Looks a great prospect!

He does look good. Built strong, has some pace and technical adept. Is he more of a halfback or 5/8th?

Becoming a little frustrating with how we never seem to be able to name a Reserve grade and Jersey Flegg squad on Tuesday’s. Makes your wonder just how successfully running our own NSW Cup side is actually going this year…

Interesting to note that Reece Foley has been promoted to NSW Cup though, I posted about him earlier in the season. Very highly rated youngster who we signed from the Cowboys this year, was in the SG Ball side earlier in year now in NSW Cup. Potentially a very good young halves pairing running around in NSW Cup for the rest of this season.

Anyone at the reserve grade game today, great 1 point comeback win. I see Lewis Murphy played, how did he go?

                    Thanks

Was only half watching, he scored a good try but otherwise didn’t have much to do. The team is a bit of a rabble.

Jake Elliott was promoted from SG Ball and had some quality touches

Yeh wasn’t a great game, there’s some good individual players there but the forward pack really struggled and it was a low quality game today.

                          My best on ground for the Roosters would be;
3 - Jake Elliott, promoted from SG Ball Cup last week straight into NSW Cup with the absence of Savala. Scored a really nice try with some good footwork, kicking game was good and slotted a 35m field goal to seal the win.
2- Lewis Murphy, finished well for his try, good left foot step, strong yardage carries and had one other linebreak where he showed a great turn of speed just got a bit of an ankle tap that put him off balance. The class is evident, I would love to see him get a game or two in first grade this year.
                          1. Meli Nassau, was one of the few Roosters forwards constantly bending the line back and generating some ruck speed.

I like the look of Lomi Saukuru as well, not sure I’ve ever seen him play before but looks like a good ball carrier. Got limited minutes.

Meli Nassua was one of Silktail players the Roosters signed - They need to fix up the players heights though as he is listed as 150 cm's

                            https://www.silktails.com.au/kaiviti...ls-meli-nasau/

Same as Watisoni Waqanisaravi another Silktail signing who isn't 167cm

Cup pulled off a Textbook set, in the dying minutes...

-kick pressure, charge down effects turnover

-4 yardage carrie's to get into good field position (started inside Rooster's half, finished on dragons 20m line)

-last carry, finds his fronts, quick ptb

                              -Elliott, perfectly executed kick

                              ...signed, sealed & delivered!

                              Well done Roosters!
