Our attack has looked poo for years now. It’s so utterly basic in its structure and just does not worry the big teams at all.

robbo’s formula is great at making us look like a good team. But our lack of wins against top 4 opposition over the last 3-4 seasons is truly concerning

Keary refuses to take the line on these days. He passed 3 m before it and puts absolutely no doubt in opposition minds.

So the club sacks Robbo......a big and destabilizing move and in comes ????

Not too many great coaches floating about. But here you've got a 3 times GF winning coach, the 1st in since the 1990's to go B2B wins. What other available coach even comes close ???

We have had injured which havnt helped the last 5 years
but everyone should be expected to perform and if not questions should be asked
there is plenty of questions atm
          1. is robbo loosing touch
          2. Ia robbo to loyal and needs to send a message to senior players
          3. is our team good enough
          4. are playing performing well enough individually and as a team
we are one of the premiership favs again not just by us but by other players, fans and media and currently again look like competing to get a top 8 spot
some players are not performing well individually and the team certainly isn’t clicking
they get paid huge money to get this right but can’t seem to fix errors week in week out

After having Robbo anyone else would be a downgrade. Stick with him.

Don’t know if we need to get rid of him, but he really needs to have a good hard look at himself and make some hard choices , I wonder if he actually believes the dribble he sprouts at press conferences. Last season he was quick to send Walker to Reggies to work on his game Keary is so overdue for relegation it’s ridiculous.
So far this season all we have shown is that we are just making up the numbers not really contenders so make the hard calls and let the young guys get more game time.

Coggy, have you completely capitulated yet? I want to back us for the premiership but I need confirmation that you have given up hope. Maybe if we lose on Anzac Day as we did in 2018?

OK let's sack Robbo, who do we bring in to replace him.
There aren't a lot of premium coaches available.

Maybe Robbo has been here to long and is to comfortable and become stale.
There aren't a lot of coaches who have been at club for 10 plus years.
The only others I can think of are Bellamy who always has teams in the top 8 and moves with the times as the game changes.
Author who has been at Parramatta hasn't got them a premiership and I would say is under pressure and won't coach there in 2026 if he doesn't get them a premiership which is almost certain.

Robbo is one of the top tier NRL coaches, not the best but defiantly in the top 3 or 4.
If we went shopping I don't see Bellamy or Cleary having any interest coming here.

We seem to panic a lot leading to stupid plays and errors. He can’t seem to make the tough decisions and seems to accept mediocrity from top players but won’t take the necessary action.
You get that from the commentators did you?

Serious when has Robbo been calm in the box? He rides the wave like any other coach.

Calm compared to sticky who's got 10 packs of nicotine gun that he's munchin' away at the whole time. However, that's not exactly the gold standard for being calm IMO.

The guru has been here way too long. Jack Gibson said he would never remain at a club longer than 3 years, now he was a great coach. We need a change in direction. I want to enjoy watching the Roosters again, ATM it's unbearable.

                          Exactly. It's like...

Fan: 'waaaaa we lost!!! Let's sack Robbo, Teddy, Keary, Crichton... blah blah blah'

Then if we actually did it: 'faaaaark how come Manu's gone to Yawnion anyway and we're now paying $$$ to have Lomax at FB, Brooks at #6 and the team's now bottom 4?!?!?'

No we don't have Cleary / Bellamy coaching the likes of Cleary, Munster, Grant, Pap...etc. However we have a roster to be proud of that can ALMOST get on top of the Riff and Drizz.

If we were 8th and had just had a cricket score put on us by Melbourne I think the 'sack the coach' cries would be more meaningful.

The brains trust boobed it up.

Mitchell Pearce / Copper Cronk > Sam Walker isn’t close to being a controlling/ leader halfback

Keary isn’t was never a organising playmaker and now has the hesitation post a long career and several concussions.

Jake Friend/ Sam Verrills > Brendon Smith is again not a regimented hooker who directs play.

That aside, we have very small halves who are now a liability due to the increase of concussions and heavy traffic being directed their way.

To counter that threat ( Which they knew last 2 years ) we would had invested in big body backrowers to protect them .. we didn’t

Effort was there last night but we can't score enough points to beat the better sides. Our attack was all too pedestrian and so predictable. Same old block plays down the left edge with Teddy sweeping around the back or Keary kicking to the corner. You can see it coming a mile away and it's so easily defused!

We must invest time into a new halves Combo. It's staring us in the face! Sam Walker and Sandon Smith could form the games best combination. I truly hope we get the opportunity to see Manu, Sandon Smith, Sam Walker and The Cheese form our spine at some stage. It's criminal that Manu is moving on! He should be our fullback whilst Teddy helps the Bulldogs or Tigers rebuild.

                                I think so !
When you look at this squad individually, a lot have been under performing for a quite a while now.
I'm not sure this holds true when you work through the side.

Without going too in depth I would say Keary, Teddy & JWH have dropped off but we are talking players in their 30s, that could be natural deterioration rather than inability to get them performing at their previous levels.

Tupou, Billy Smith, Suaalii (winger), Walker, Collins, May, Whyte, Brandon Smith, Watson, NButcher and Radley for mine have all been in good recent form (last 10-15 games).
