What is happening?
The place has gone mad.
Well, some people in it have.
Seems what's gone on in America etc for a long time has finally arrived here.
By good management, We the People here, horrified by the 'Strathfield massacre', 'Hoddle st massacre', and 'Port Arthur Massacre', demanded that auto and semi auto guns be banned......and PM John Howard agreed and acted.
No assault rifle used in Bondi, or in this church, thankfully.
Absolute security protects absolutely.
Absolute security at schools and churches is easy to achieve.
At malls, especially very large ones, more difficult.

Started a new gig in Fairfield only yesterday. Its a community on edge. What will our Government do/what can they do to prevent further terror attacks? One thing I know is we need more than a multicultural awareness session and more victim blaming.

No doubt. A horrible occurence for the city on the back of Saturdays attacks. You would have to think a 15 year old boy would have been organised and coached by adults similar to the Parramatta murder of Curtis Cheng. I actually got called up for jury duty in that case, but asked the judge to be excused as there was no way I could have been impartial when it comes to terrorism. I guess, at least, thats our democracy working.

Glad they got out when they did.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Can completely understand people thinking it was terror related. All the hallmarks were there...long bladed knife, knew how to use it, the location, soft targets women and children, cowardice when confronted by a man etc.
Even if it wasn't wasn't terror related (which seems an incredible coincidence) I am begging our Government to take a zero tolerance approach to all hate inspired behaviours. The Oct 9th riots, the anti-semitism, weekly demonstrations preaching hate, clerics calling for violence etc. etc.By ignoring or helping facilitate this, we are creating an inevitable climate of opportunity for terrorists. Ask ASIO.
Please Prime Minister put poltical gain aside and Australia first.

But what will will they do? Very little, and nothing that will set a new standard in terms of letting these animals know, no longer will we put up with your shit.Last edited by Batemans Bay Rooster; 04-16-2024, 05:35 PM.

The parents and every family member of this 15yo attacker, along with him after he's served his sentence, are deported back to wherever the fark they came from. Anyone who laid a hand on a police officer yesterday or damaged police vehicles, jailed then deported.

Yep its a national shame, but I'm buggered if I know what we can do.

Jack your words ring true, not for the Bondi J incident, but the one a day later...soft gutless police and governments allow these putrid western Sydney hate preachers free reign. Anyone who was violent towards police yesterday should be deported. But of course they won't be. Because we're the softest touch on the planet. Just pathetic and shameful.
