The bishop and priest who were stabbed yesterday didn't make any hate speeches. The bishop's videos on his YouTube channel confirm this. I work with a young lady who was in the church at the time with her mother. After being stabbed, the bishop was praying for the boy who attacked him. Says a lot about his character. Not all western Sydney preachers are encouraging hatred and death. As a Roosters club we should look inwards first. How many people on here came out condemning SBW for his anti-Jewish remarks in January? The hatred that is spread by many people on social media, in the public eye, the media and unfortunately even on footy forums is what is pathetic and shameful.
We're talking about the Islamist perpetrator and who he's be listening to and influenced by. Not the poor victim ffs

Both your posts #131 and #133 give off the impression that you are talking about "Western Sydney hate peachers." Specifically, your remark about "No more churches, no more hate talk," suggests that you aren't only talking about the Islamic perpetrator.

If I have misunderstood your post than apologies.

I'm talking about anyone and any religion who preaches hate. No suggestions anywhere that the bishop from the Assyrian church who was attacked was anything like that. Quite the opposite by the sounds of things

        • they're talking about a memorial to those who lost their lives last week. not sure about that - it also immortalises the criminal act. yes, leave your flowers at the junction, have the service at bondi, but not sure about a permanent reminder. tricky one ...
