Yep especially when it is a place you live near and you and your family go to on close to a daily basis

Cauchi? I thought it was an Italian name but I read it was of Maltese origin. The only group one can confidently connect him with is ice-addled lunatics.

This is very clear for any normal person to see Carlos has a history of going off early but this is one time where one should just sit back and make no assumptions online anyway

Twitter was absolutely disgusting last night with the assumptions being made

I don’t like speculating online about this but will admit upon seeing the photo this was my first thought that I conveyed to family at home

You haven't done your research have you? And no doubt you'll accept any spin put out by politicians and the police who were quick to say there was no ideological reason behind the attack. If they can't provide the motive, how could they say there was no 'religious ideation'?

              Riddle me that, genius?

Maybe not religious, but you can take it to the bank that it's (minority) racial and terror related. How clever of you to acknowledge the mental health aspect of it, though. That's kind of a given don't you think? I'm yet to hear about people with mental health issues helping little old ladies across the street.

The fact you drew certain conclusions from my earlier post, means that similar thoughts went through your tiny mind. How else could you have done it? What it proves is that you're too gutless to admit to your bigotry whereas I am not. That makes your bias far more sinister than mine. At the very least, you might surmise that the perp was obviously a misogynist since more females were attacked/killed than males.

Would you like a bigger fainting couch?

              Baaaa baaaa.

Looks like it was more an anti women thing than any racial or cultural attack.

Perhaps Google my surname to discover my bigotry/fears.

Anyway, the surname isn't relevant. It wasn't known when I made my post but if you wish to focus on appellations, there's are several subtle clues in his forename (and not the one that Google might suggest to you).

Careful, you're not allowed to speculate!

Besides, it might be that he was looking for what he believed to be weaker targets. Unlucky for him that it was the fairer sex who put him out of his misery.

As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see 'the River Tiber foaming with much blood'.

Fake news has named the perp as Benjamin Cohen (thereby implying a Jew carried out the attack).

                        Why?

You can get your answer to that by asking Aussie Cossack who started that on Twitter

He has explained it and has apologised He also used the term unsubstantiated when giving that name

As Andy mentioned there has been alot of unsubstantiated claims about the perpetrator. The police have released his name and a bit about his background. More will come to light when the police dig into his life.

One of my Dad's good mates lost a daughter to this madman and my wife was in the exact same spot 24 hours earlier.

Can we please keep the conversation civil and let's not toss around unsubstantiated theories. Thanks.

So far I've been the only one courageous enough to speculate on here though. There is more to come, believe me.

I've been deliberately obtuse but that hasn't stopped the cowards from attacking me. That they can decide what my comments were suggesting proves that they have similar thoughts. With what is currently going on in the Middle East and the dire warning from Christopher Wray in the USA the other day, how could any normal person not think the attack was carried out by an ideological terrorist?

For the mushrooms on here (and there are many), Christopher Wray is the Director of the FBI. Just 48 hours ago he expressed concerns that a lone wolf or small group will draw 'twisted inspiration' from events in Middle East and Russia.
