Imo, the tipping point for Todd was bringing Watts to the club. It was no secret that the bloke was a grub and like mason and myles, he was the final piece of the puzzle along with darius boyd in the Australian camp that removed his focus. Might I add that Watts just got sacked by Widnes only days after re-signing. I will go so far as to say that if Myles and Watts never worse RW&B, Todd would still be here. That said, he is a 25 year old man and not a boy who had everything taken away from him only 3 years ago yet seemingly hasnt learnt his lesson. Its about time he takes responsibility for his life.

Ohh and mark my words, he will do to cronulla what he did to us. Cronulla have some real grubs floating around who get hammered regularly - a far worse culture than ours ever was trust me. As soon as some of them start to feel invincible and taste success, not even rotherfield will be able to keep the headlines under raps
Cronulla wil never let go of him, even if he is attached to a ticking time bomb. Plus they've got the unbiased completely credible rothfield to protect him.

      I want two things known.

      1. Since he arrived, I've considered the appointment of Steve Noyce to be one of the biggest mistakes this club has made.

      2. I hold the exact same belief of Braith Anasta.

If these two win Origin for NSW, which is a distinct possibility, Roosters management are going to look like the biggest pack of mouth breathing imbeciles in Rugby League.

But it's cool. We still have Anasta and Noycey at the helm.
And if they don't win SOO will that quench your blood lust? Or are we destined to see a "If sharks win the title Rooster management blah blah blah..." thread?

I'm not disagreeing with you in regards to watching his form at the moment is gutwrenching when compared to the utter crap being dished up by Emergency Services. But you're living in the past mate and are one drunken fark up away from a thousand I told ya so's.

        Chook.

          Chook, two things.

          1. You're right about the poisoned well that is Todd Carney being a better alternative to the toxic swamp that is Braith Anasta.

          2. Thank you for using the term gutwrenching correctly, I have heard supposedly trained journalists use the term heartwrenching more times than I can stand.

          It was a gutwrenching failure.

          It was a heartrending loss.

You have no idea how much the misuses of the supposed English language effects my affect. But I would very much like you to infer from my implications how it does.

            What has Noyce done wrong???

            What is his role anyways???

I always took his position as being similar to Gallops, the face, the messenger, the one who fronts the media and fans, the job others don't want to do. No real power, in on decisions but in a minor way, more a fall guy for the suits.

That's why I gave up giving it to Gallop, News run the game, he's employed to preach their sermons. IMO Noyce is our Gallop.

The blame game is something I can never understand, especially when it's being thrown at the wrong offender. Like the old salary cap scandal, blame the players and player managers, but ignore the owners and club suits. The soft option basically.

            The FlogPen .

            You know it makes sense.

I put $300 on Cronulla to make the GF back in the off season.

Should they get anywhere near it then yes, you're bound to see a thread.

The Sharks beat Melbourne without Gallen on Sunday, could they do it without Carney?

Does anyone know how long he has signed for the Sharks? Wasn't it like only 1 year on a behaviour wait & see deal? Let's buy him back

But that's all right. Our 5/8 is sober.

Funnily enough, he's the one who stitched Carney up with a drinking ban.
Pipe, do you think he would be playing like he is now if he was still here?

                            Who knows?

The knew what they were in for when they signed him though.

You'd have thought they'd know how to handle the inevitable fall from grace.

They should have given him an offseason to get this shit together.

If the roosters had been patient we would now have the two best halves going around except for thueston

We gave him the pre-season off in 2011 to recover from his groin surgery. He did his re-hab in the pub and still couldn`t get it together...
