Nrl fans will know Marky N once he plays and will take interest in him next year
seems like tupou might be retiring or finishing off in eng?
big unit who goes looking for the ball, and breaks tackles at ease
dom young and Mark N on the wings would be the best wing combo in the nrl
keeps the rooster mould of enjoying the 6’3” and 100kg plus winger / centres

Im predicting more magic from our Uncle Nick.
Don't be surprised next year if he manages a mutual swap.
It's a win/win for both codes, more so for Yawnion to have Joe settle in before the Wallabies much anticipated 2025 year.
The sweetner will be if the NRL proceed with their proposed salary cap dispensation for other code players.
Ahhh, the envy!

The more highlights I watch the better I feel about it. Dare I say it he might even be a lot better than JS is, at least right now. He seems to have great lateral footwork, he is a huge body and good in the air. Rapid aswell.
Speaks really well also so will probably fit into our culture and Robbo was probably a big part of the signing.
I do wonder why we are storing all these wingers up. Toops is a legend, I can only assume he has told insiders its his last year because I'd give him first crack at the jersey until he retires.
I guess Mark N is a like for like for JS as I said earlier but I wonder how Lewis Murphy, Tyreece Tait, Billy Smith and Co. all feel about it.
We need to sign up May and Manu long term and get a decision on our 5/8 long term. If we can get that done by January, will be a really good off season.Last edited by HunchoRooster; 12-08-2023, 12:06 PM.

I played yawnion at school and used to watch it when guys like Eales, Gregan, Burke, Larkham, Mortlock...etc were playing. m
Right now I don't give a fark though. The 'highlights' that Facebook occasionally throws at me are mostly of a morbidly obese Irish dude running into people in slo-mo, with his rolls of fat jiggling around everywhere (while the pep music tries to convince us it's a super impressive hit).
If I then watch further, their gameplan centres around the said dude (who's difficult to tackle as you can't tell whether he's standing or not) intentionally locking up the ball in rucks/mauls and collapsing scrums. Great for the spectators said NOBODY ever!!!
There was an era where yawnion involved watching Australia and New Zealand play a free flowing game with a strong focus on running and clever set plays (e.g. the old lineout trick where everybody steps back and a flyer runs in to blitz everybody down the blindside). This was something like 25 years ago though!!!! League's gone one way and yawnion's gone the other (as have I as a spectator).
Then there's the fact you can only ever see yawnion on Fox. Yeah no thanks...
