The Sydney Roosters have today announced the signing of Mark Nawaqanitawase.
The 23-year-old will join the Roosters on a two-year contract commencing in 2025.
Roosters Head of Recruitment, Daniel Anderson, said: “We’re delighted to have secured Mark’s services and look forward to welcoming him to our club in 2025. In the meantime, we wish him all the best for a successful 2024 in rugby union.”
More good Christmas shopping by management. It’s like 2012.
I understand there is salary cap relief when a union signs so I was wondering will that be the case if Bondi Joe returns as stated by Nick.
Great athlete and was probably our best in the RWC although not saying much.
Is he a contingency plan for Toops retirement or a like for like swap for JS leaving?
Only we would make a bold signing like this.
Both. If Tupou re-signs then we still have 5 playing for 4 spots. Even though it seems like we will have this issue going into 2024, I doubt that 1 of the five first graders will be content playing in Reggie’s.
