A bit premature to right off the Leniu signing. The bloke has already won 3 comps and he's younger than both May & Fletcher Baker, who pretty much everyone on here still thinks have great potential. He is a long way off his prime years, and with a season or two more under his belt should be a very very good prop.

I think Robbo sees him as a replacement for JWH in the agression dept. Wouldn't swap our forwards but you need one mongrel in the bunch and that could well be Lenie.
Other than JWH atm, who else is going to run in to stand up for the little guy. Please don't say Victor as he would be sent off before he arrives at the scene on spec. Maybe Nat?

Lewis Murphy isn’t coming here to play reserve grade. Sure he may start there but I can’t see him staying there all year. Just my opinion.

Do yourself a favour and go watch his highlights. He has tremendous speed but one of his highlight characteristics is his finishing. He is up there with the best finishers in the entire game.

I’m actually super excited to see him come across

i totally agree. i shared some footage of him on here and didnt get a great response. he is instantly quick but what i like he plays both sides.
i dont know about his fitness as he had an acl injury early this year so he might be a rehab guy for the first few games possibly. ive had a look into google to find how hes recovering but cant find sfa

Leniu IS the little guy!! He is only 183cm which is one of the smallest front rowers in the game...compared to JWH/Collins/Haas etc all over 192cm.
Having said this, Moses Leota is only 182cm and JFH is 187cm and both are beasts as is Spenser.....and all three are 3 x premiership winners...so obviously height is not important! If anything these guys get to the ground quickly and have a tougher target area to find. Maybe that is the future of front rowers. (Sam Moa style)

Club have listed Lewis Murphy as a supplementary player for 2024. Until now they couldn't play until round 11 but I've heard they may be able to play right away next season
