He got us our first win after ages when nobody else (including Bellamy) could. This included by using various coaching innovations.

IMO the job's cursed. QLD wins most Origin series' and the coach is always to blame. Never a bunch of soft c0cks who lose the series all because they couldn't hold a bloody team out while ahead and up a player during the last 10 (then forgot how to play footy for the next 80 mins).

To me it's a media-driven 'rivalry' to give money back to the old QLD, NSW and channel 9. It's the product they got outta News Ltd's hostile takeover of the sport. It's just an exhibition match and that's all it needs to be.
