More fantastic news for the women's game with a new full junior rep under 17's Lisa Fiaola Cup comp starting in 2024.

They had a regional under-17's Lisa Fiaola Cup competition in 2023, which was won by the Central Coast Roosters.

It's all happening, as the great Bill Lawrie would say, with the increased investment in the women's game and more opportunities for females to continue playing, which was often not the case once they turned 12.

I don’t like women’s footy so that makes me negative about women? I’ll happily watch women play other sports.

On this, NSW Cup really needs to finsih up a week earlier like the QLD cup did. Such a huge advantage for the Qld side going into that finals game, also allows them to spend a couple of days celebrating their grand final win.
