Possibly the most boring sporting event I have ever seen. Certainly not helped by the flop-athon permitted in the ruck.

Christ...those eyelashes. She spends more time in the make-up room than on the footy field.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I don’t know. Just looked like family and a few friends on TV.

Time to leave the 5-star luxury resort in Moore Park and base ourselves (men and women) at Henson Park and get "F U# K ING" hungry. Cold cement change rooms and only $1 coffee from 7 eleven etc................

Look like more than that to me. Saw regular fans with the banners and patches of crowd. Looked like 4-5k.

Across the two NRLW finals that would make it 16-17k turn out. I would say that's pretty good, no?

The jersey Flegg/NSW Cup double header got just over 10k.

Be interesting at the post-match press conference in Coach Strange's take on the match.

No doubt Millie Boyle and Isabelle Kelly carried injuries into the game and then game injuries to Corban Baxter and Amelia Pasikala put them under the cosh

Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans coaches and captains chat to the media after their Woman's Telstra Premiership Finals Week 1 clash.

Mention was made of the inconsistency of policing the ruck and slowing it down, and it was obvious what the Titans were doing, but not to the person that counts.

They certainly had to deal with injuries every week including 6 players ruled out for the season and game day injuries today as well.

Agree that if they continue with a top 4 series it should be

1 vs 2 - Winner to GF and loser to preliminary Final
3 vs 4 - Winner to Preliminary Final and loser eliminated

In reality it should be a top 5

Hopefully the bulk of the squad not signed for 2023 will re-sign, as, for sure and certain, a host of clubs will be chasing quite a number of the players off contract.

I'm not sure if Shawden Burton and Tavarna Papalii would have recovered from their ACLs in time for NRLW season 2024.

Hopefully we will see Aliyah Nasio play NRLW in 2024. She was ruled out of the 2023 NRLW season with a broken humerus.

If 16-17k then I’d agree that’s pretty good.

Yeh but lets not pretend that the womens game is really any more important than our traditional lower grades. We all seen Robbo was part of the crowd at Parramatta today, as were plenty of our NRL boys.

                        Define important, what's your measure?

Robinson's job is to coach and select players from the reserve grade side, of course he's going to be there. What's the insinuation there, that he didn't go to the NRLW because he thinks it's less important? No, it's just not his job.

I thought today was a great day in general for Rugby League, 27k fans across three grounds in Sydney on a Sunday arvo speaks volumes for the interest in all our secondary competitions. I'm not sure why there's always the need to try and dunk on one competition or the other.

credit to the titans. hard to say they didn't deserve the victory. we let in a couple of tries that we should have held out and made more errors than we'd like.
still, not as disappointing an exit as last year - the injuries today made it hard and some of the reffing was inconsistent and we couldn't overcome the combination of the two.
no doubt the girls are feeling awful right now given how well they played for most of the regular season. hope we can keep the team together for next year

4000k on the back of a massive advertising campaign across commercial, pay tv and news publications vs nothing for the lower grades grand finals. It was you that made the comparison between the games by the way to begin with.

                              3,027 announced.
                              Felt like 2,500.
