Aside from beating souffs twice and knocking them out of final’s contention, it would have to be beating the Sharks in the quarterfinals. Showed a lot of heart in that win, which is what being a Rooster is all about.

Our efforts were on par against the Storm as well, unfortunate end result though.

1. Emergence of Wong and Sandon Smith
2. Beating Souffs twice this season (especially ending their season in the last comp round)
3. Seeing Walker return
4. Making the finals after a shocker of a season
5. Week #1 finals against the Sharks

Knocking souffs out and beating them twice. Nothing else comes close

Seeing the team fight hard to get into the finals shows the heart the team has, but tbh it was expected. Lying down and accepting defeat isn't who we are. And its why we should be genuine contenders every season. Too bad we drop a few winnable games mid year. A top 4 finish should be the minimum expectation next year.

1. The superhuman effort to beat the sharks...will never forget walker's field goal and teddy and kez's charge downs. Definitely my new favourite 13-12 win over the sharks overtaking the game where Mini kicked his first ever field goal

2. Beating souths twice and knocking them out. Special mention to fatrell missing the 2 point field goal attempt in the dying minutes and having a good old sook about it. I could watch that on replay all day.

3. Billy proving the doubters that he can be one of the best centres in the game once he finally catches a break. Hope he comes back even hungrier next year.

Highlight? The full time whistle after our Storm exit match.....let's face it..it was a underwhelming miserable season.

Probably winning the Coote cup too, that was a high.

And Ray Stehr threads...more entertaining that our games.

Expecting a better 2024.

I wouldn’t have thought that being critical of the team selection/performance and being proud of their achievements are mutually exclusive, but thanks for dictating your opinion which of course is the only one allowed, one has to say.
