I’m the first person to defend Sammy Walker at any given time but I must say he had a poor game yesterday..

His kicking game was average in terms of distance and he rarely ran the ball..

On top of that his flick pass when we were peppering the Storm line which ended up in Christian Welch intercepting and running 50 metres wasn’t good enough..

Sammy did similar in the early rounds vs Sharks and was dropped.
Trent must drop him next week and have him focus and improve on his faux pas

I thought he was pretty average too. I reckon his knee and ankle might have had something to do with it.

Smith gave away a dumb penalty, pushed the man playing the ball...gave the Storm field position and 6 more tackles.
Radley tackled someone in the head, gave away field position and 6 tackles.
Egan Butcher dropped a pass...more possession handed to the Storm.
Wayward passes...we made too many errors...we're famous for it.
Keary ran up out of the line and cost a try.
Walker had plenty of company.

Our plans/style were thrown into disarray by injuries and having so many of our stars missing.

Our team is still too small though, and now Baker has gone.
With refereeing the way it is...(Knights scored a try from a blatant forward pass at a critical time in the game yesterday against the Warriors)...seems the only way for us to win games is to trample the opposition with big players who can tackle and be unstoppable close to the try line.

Next week have a look at the size and ability of the Broncos team, the forwards in particular.
That's the team we need to make top 4...win premierships.

Surely you’re not blaming the supporters for getting upset that a star studded team early in the season keeps dropping early winnable games year after year?

We win those early games and we are in the top 4,so you can understand supporters frustration..

I'm not blaming anybody, just pointing out the fickleness of supporters , all supporters

A couple of legitimate gripes in amongst there.

Some players had Covid early 2023, from memory.
Radley was suspended every other game.

Gus was ill, there was drama with Lodge, Suaalii leaving.
Watson was injured, out for whole season.
Manu was injured, Sitili was injured out for season.

Robbo persisted with Paulo right wing, and disaster struck.
He persisted with Suaalii in the centres, that was also disastrous.
Hopefully Robbo now understands that winning a premiership does indeed start in MARCH.
Every game is vital.

Big IS better...believe...it is the truth.

We need a big, muscular, tough, fast pack of forwards. The top teams have such.
Warriors, big, strong, tough, fast, trampled the Knights....scored 40 points.

Storm winger who won the game is Big, Strong, Fast.

First game in March, you have to be primed and ready to go...you can't use it as a warm up match.
You can't wait until June to start playing properly and making a run for the finals then.

Did these supporters realise players were unavailable for selection throughout the year

Many kept on posting it's the best squad which is very debatable one has to say - How could it be in any case when you look at the number of games the probable best 17 missed this season?

game 1 - 5 or 6 of these players would have been in the 17
