I reckon we have about 5% chance of winning.

But who knows with this rag tag bunch of misfits with their never say die attitude.

We're down on troops for sure, but there's still no better form than winning form. They risk going out in straight sets. 6 wins in a row can you believe it, and now if we win this week, we're in a grand final qualifier...!!! We were done and dusted 6 weeks ago, and after a bit of a flat performance last week - but still won ugly and defended amazing - we may well have another bounce up performance this week. Win the collisions against any team, you'll win the match. We've been winning the collisions big time, we must do so again.

We will win , I know it , the storm are a rabble . Play it thru the forwards and leave the rest to Sammy, Luke and Teddy.

I don’t rate their back 5. Don’t forget we still have Teddy in ours.
          We will win.

            100%
If we can have nice crip quick play the balls and get rolling up the middle and don't give them a god start.... well we could be a chance
            Nothing to lose.

In other words, the Storm are show-ers and we are growers.

The thing is to be proud that we have the best fighting spirit in the competition. No matter the storm how good they are and have beaten us this year both them and their fans will be very nervous because we are the last team they want to play and I bet they are not looking forward to it. Our reputation precedes us and the storm know they will have to earn their win. And then in the preliminary they’ll get thrashed again. This year has always been between the Broncos and Penrith.

I admire the positivity of many on this thread. I want to be the same, but I cannot see us finding a way with Klein controlling this game with our entire three quarter line missing.

This team is playing with so much grit and self belief that we can absolutely win. Even without our 3/4 line the argument can be made that we still have the better team on paper.

It's just a tragedy that for the third season in a row we've been cripled by injuries come finals time. Comically so when you think both our gun centres and wingers are missing. Two of them to high shots. Teddy was taken out the year before vs Souffs who also attempted to knock Suaalii out twice. And the year before that Souffs broke Joey's draw.

It's rotten misfortune for a team that deserves so much better. But they'll keep fighting. I've seen a lot stranger things happen in sport.

                      Let's be honest.

It will be a miracle if we win.

The Roman philosopher, Seneca, nominated low expectations as being the key to happiness. I can't see a win here though last week was impressive the bookies don't throw money away. If anything, this game is an irrelevance as the Grand Finalists are pretty clearly the 'Riff and Brisbane. I can't see anyone upsetting that eventuality. My worst fear is that we're losers from the get go. No go forward for 80 minutes. We should be dirty on Jazza but did he get a fair shake anyway?

No sure if it's true, mind games or whatever

Melbourne star Jahrome Hughes is in doubt for tomorrow night’s semi final against the Roosters. Storm officials are tight lipped on the injury situation. Hughes failed to train on Tuesday and was standing with club staff observing their open training session.

With Bellamy quoted as saying he is "unlikely to play".

If not a red herring, the pendulum swings a little further our way. Would be a big out for them.

If Hughes is indeed out then I reckon that makes us favourites.

He normally violates us every game, Ben Hunt-style.

So he'd be a massive out and I think we can belt them in the forwards and win this one around 18-6.

We've come in from $3.90 to $3.20 in the betting .
also reduced start from 11.5 to 7.5.
so i guess the bookies think Hughes might be out.
