  • Toups ruled out with PCL injury

No team in the NRL suffers more injuries in training than the Roosters it is just ridiculous.

Sydney Roosters Coach Trent Robinson has reduced the squad to 19 players ahead of tomorrow's Round 27 clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium.

As confirmed by Robinson this morning, Joseph Manu has been ruled out of the match with a Grade 1 hamstring strain sustained in Round 26. Corey Allan has been named to take his place in the centres.

Daniel Tupou has also been ruled out of Friday's game with a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury sustained at training. Fetalaiga Pauga comes into the starting line-up to replace the Tongan International on the wing.

Drew Hutchison is the Tricolours 18th player in jersey no.20, while Naufahu Whyte is the remaining reserve.

We are ****ing cursed. **** me dead!

I doubt there is another team in the NRL that have had the level of injuries that we’ve had. This is beyond a joke now.

We will really miss his tough carries out of our end.

Geez. Both team’s backlines are pretty week now. Why are we so unlucky?

Toops is so influential on the team these days, possibly even moreso than JWH.

Can this game start already?! With each day that passes I feel less confident.

Hopefully the team makes it through the warm up ffs

Pauga…. Great winger except he can’t catch a ****ing bomb to save his life.

expect him to get an absolute peppering

Going to be hard to establish field position when you take out the tough yardage carries of both Toups and JWH.

                        Depends what grade it is.

Grade 1 player can usually play within 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 you’re looking at more like 4 weeks & Grade 3 which is a complete tear is around 12 weeks.
