The fact this isn't the first time we've seen such grubby behavior from him should make it clear to everyone that he is a grub / thug. You can come up with excuses for the 'it happened in the heat of the battle, it's not his normal go' stuff once or twice but enough's enough. It will be interesting the way the media try to spin it. He is a hot head and with one minute to go in the game it was totally unnecessary. He has a serious attitude problem and giant chip on his shoulder.

My business partner is a sponsor and very well connected within Souths. He told me that Latrell is on the nose there. He's been having a whinge about the team being too reliant on him. This latest incident has them fuming.

He/the club will deny it but it was in retaliation for an incident between he and Frizell earlier on.

If he indeed does miss the 1-2 games and Souffs miss out on finals or crash out without him, has to go down as one of the dumbest acts on a footy field. The game was gone and there was 70 seconds left. Not what you want from your million dollar marquee superstar, who is supposed to deliver on the field and be a role model off it. Unnecessary as you said. Deserves 6 weeks for stupidity of it alone.

It's depressing watching latrell now - the entire game he spends with his hands on knees crouched over puffing for breath. On the few occasions he manages to get into position to field a kick he almost always gets rid of the ball to a winger (often with a long risky pass) for them to do the hard yards. He is grossly unfit. He is still immensely strong of course and can chime in to the attack effectively and be a handful, but his game is way more limited these days.

Look back on his highlight reels with us - he was fit, fast and fantastic - and had no trouble running the length of the field with ball in hand.
