Who knows if other clubs would pay him 1M a season, I wouldn’t.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion on here but I think Robbo knows more about footy & Sam Walker than any of us so I’m happy to let it play out & if that means he stays with the Roosters all good or if he goes to another club no worries. I think he’s not a bad player but I don’t think he is as good as what is made out on here, I personally don’t think he is tough enough but if he stays with us I hope he toughens up. As much as people on here hated Pearce he was a tough farker from the get go.
Other than Cleary it takes years to become a really good halfback & Sam is nowhere near that at this stage.

Robbo also said that he is our long-term halfback, and he will therefore be back as soon as he ready.

He is not being frozen out, despite what some of the Chicken Little's of this site like to espouse.
Which means his injury hasn't healed properly yet.
He must not play again this season, not even in reserve grade.
We need to charge forward with the halves we have now who are match fit and playing well.
Sam will only get smashed if we play him, and could miss most of next season if he gets injured again.
Give him a cash bonus for sitting out, he'll likely be happy with that.
He can get fit, and build himself up more in the off season...ready to go in March in Vegas.

This was the last straw. He was a beaten man and had lost all confidence. The 8 missed tackles were the most telling sign.

Watching that game in a bit of fast forward just showed how poor Brandon smiths service from dummy half really is.

I would rate Walker around 12th as far as NRL Halfback Rankings go.

He is an up and coming halfback with a lot to work on - offence/ defence - Also needs to put on some bulk as well as he won't last the distance if he doesn't as he will continually be targeted in D.

The Hutchinator makes a line break but no support and a try goes begging .

I’d have him in front of Hastings and brooks
there are some good halves out there
this year Johnson is right up the top, and DCE about 5th or 6th, has not done a lot for manly

I'd rate you around 12th as far as clowns go. You are ahead of the likes of Bobo but behind Bozo, Pennywise and Gordon Tallis.

I'd rate Walker as FIRST of all those halves at the same age, and certainly in the TOP 3 by the end of his career.
At least the KAKFA hasn't put Hutchison on the list at all.
Walker is as good or better in attack as any of those listed.
And he has shown plenty of guts in defence,
Obviously he is a small young half and has been targeted by opposition running big forwards at him,
but I feel the positives he offers in creating scoring opportunities far outweigh the negatives.
This KAKFA declares himself the greatest Roosters SUPPORTER, yet he rubbishes the player we need to be a force in the future.

You did hear the pre game presser where Coach Robinson said Walker has only completed a partial training session this week - So you still think Coach Robinson should play him despite what the club medical staff say?
